1726 MBBS, BDS, BSc Nursing seats available for NEET counselling stray vacancy round, MCC notifies on last date of joining, 2nd mop up round
New Delhi : The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the seat matrix for NEET Counselling stray vacancy round seats for MBBS, BDS and BSc Nursing admissions 2022.
The seats belong to All India Quota/Open Seat Quota / AIIMS / Delhi University Quota/ Central Institutes Quota / JIMPER / Employees State Insurance Scheme(ESI) /B.Sc Nursing Delhi NCR institutes.
According to the seat matrix, 986 seats are available in deemed institutes including 370 MBBS and 616 BDS seats. 740 seats are available under AIQ quota including 218 MBBS, 313 BDS, 209 BSc Nursing seats.
Medical Dialogues had earlier reported that since the Mop Up Round of UG Counselling 2022 of many states was delayed and is getting over on 18.12.2022., the competent authority has decided to delay the conduction of Stray Vacancy Round of UG Counselling by MCC so that the states can complete their Mop Up Round and there is no overlapping between Stray Vacancy Round of MCC and Mop round of states.
The Stray Vacancy Round of UG Counselling was extended as per following schedule :

* The Candidates who do not want to participate in Stray Vacancy Round of UG Counselling 2022 to be conducted by MCC, may log in to their account and exercise 'OPT OUT' option on MCC website to prevent forfeiture of their security deposit.(schedule for the same got over on 06 :00 PM of 20.12.2022.
The candidates who take part in stray vacancy round will be allotted seats as per choices exercised by them in Mop up round of UG Counselling 2022 as given in the Information Bulletin.
Now the candidates are advised to note that the Last Date of Joining/ Admission (for MBBS ) in UG Counselling 2022 to be conducted by states is 28th December, 2022.
There will be 2nd Mop Up Round and Stray Vacancy Round for BDS and B.Sc (Nursing) seats, the schedule for which will be uploaded on MCC website soon, the MCC stated in the notice.
