347 Seats For NEET PG 3rd Round Counselling 2024, BOPEE Releases Provisional Seat Matrix
Jammu & Kashmir- The Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) Board of Professional Entrance Examination (BOPEE) has released the provisional seat matrix of National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Postgraduate (NEET PG) (MD, MS & PGD) on the second day of the 3rd round of physical counselling for the academic year 2024-25.
As per the seat matrix, a total of 347 seats are vacant across MD/MS and PG Diploma Courses across all medical colleges of J&K. Of these, a total of 345 seats are vacant in Government seats MD and MS Courses and a total of 2 seats are vacant in PG Diploma Courses.

Meanwhile, J&K BOPEE had invited offline applications for admission to DNB (Broad Specialty) Courses for the academic year 2024 after lowering the merit of NEET PG Courses.
As per the official notification in this regard, following the reduction of NEET PG merit, all the concerned NEET PG qualified in-service candidates/doctors that the Board invited offline applications for admission to Post MBBS DNB seats, Post Diploma DNB seats and Post MBBS Diploma seats (Broad Specialty) till 24th January 2025.
However, this was the third time the resignation deadline has been extended, previously the resignation deadline was set to 2 pm on January 12, 2025. After this, the resignation deadline for NEET PG (MD/MS/PGD) 2024 candidates was extended to 2:00 pm on January 20, 2025.
The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE) was established by an Act of the State Legislature. Under the Act, the Board is entrusted with the task of conducting entrance examinations and recommending the selection of candidates for admission to various Professional courses in the UT of Jammu and Kashmir or Ladakh.
