6,266 PG Medical Seats up for grabs in MCC NEET PG Counselling 2021 mop-up round, Check out detailed seat matrix
New Delhi: A total of 6,266 MD, MS, PG Diploma and DNB seats are available for NEET PG Counselling candidates participating in the mop-up round being conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee, MCC under DGHS.
The confirmation of this aggregate comes from the recently released Mop-Up Round seat matrix on the official website of the MCC indicating the number of MD, MS DNB and PG Diploma seats being offered for the mop-up round of NEET PG Counselling as per the categories available in medical institutes across the country.
MCC has started the NEET PG counselling registration of mop-up round at mcc.nic.in The last date to register for NEET PG Counselling 2021 Mop-Up Round is March 7, 2022. The choice filling round will be followed by verification of internal applicants from March 8 to 9, 2022. Applicants who exited either after round 1 or round 2 of NEET PG 2021 counselling by not reporting to the allotted college or were not allotted a seat are eligible to apply for the Mop-Up rounds. The result will be announced on March 12.
The last date of joining after the completion of overall counselling procedures including stray vacancy round is 16th March 2022 for AIQ seats and 10th March 2022 for state counselling candidates.
Top 10 Specialities
According to the mop-up round seat matrix for MCC NEET PG Counselling 2021 for candidates seeking PG medical admissions under AIQ quota this year, the maximum seats are 392 in MD Anaesthesiology followed by MD/ MS Anatomy with 342 and MD Pathology with 331 seats.
MD Physiology has 310 seats left for Mop-up candidates while MS General Surgery has 280, MD Microbiology has 277 seats left
For the mop-up round, 254 seats are left in the speciality of MD Pharmacology aspirants, 251 each in MD Biochemistry and MD Preventive and Social Medicine, Community Medicine, and 242 for MD, MS in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
