6,591 seats up for grabs in MCC NEET SS counselling 2025 round 2

New Delhi: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has recently released the seat matrix for the 2nd round of counselling for the National Eligibility and Entrance Test Super Speciality (NEET SS) for the academic year 2025.
This seat matrix includes newly added seats, vacant seats, and virtual vacant seats for participating candidates.
According to the official NEET SS Seat Matrix 2025, a total of 6,591 seats are available for Round 2. Of these, 133 seats have been newly added, 1,858 seats are clearly vacant, and 4,600 seats are virtually vacant.
The NEET SS round 2 counselling 2025 seat matrix for admission into the DM, MCh and Dr DNB has been released in a PDF format on the official website of MCC. The seat matrix contains important information such as state name, Institute, Quota, branch, category and total seats.

MCC commenced the NEET SS round 2 counselling for the academic year 2025 from March 28, 2026. The counselling process is scheduled to conclude by April 16, 2026, including the reporting phase.
Following this, the Choice Filling process will commence from 29th March, 2026 and will continue until 4th April, 2026. Thereafter, the processing of seat allotment will be done from 5 th April, 2026 and the result will be declared on 7th April, 2026.
