73 PG Medical Seats remain vacant in Tamil Nadu, Details

Tamil Nadu: TN Health announces tentative vacancy position for CMC, Vellore (70% minority), self-financing medical colleges (management quota including 30% CMC minority), self-financing medical colleges (government quota), admission list under management quota and government quota for PG Medical and Diploma courses.

A total of 73 seats are left vacant for PG Medical and Diploma courses.

CMC Vellore (70% minority) has only 1 seat is left vacant.

Following is the seat matrix –

1. M.D. Anatomy – 1

Self financing medical colleges (management quota including 30% CMC minority) has 36 seats left vacant.

Recently Mop-Up round 3 was conducted for PG Medical and Diploma courses. Candidates were asked to report on 4th May 2022 till 1:00 pm. Those who were not allotted any seats in the previous rounds were allowed to participate in this round. However, the candidates holding a State Quota/ AIQ/Deemed University/DNB (conducted by NBE) seats and those allotted but not joined in State Mop-Up rounds 1 and 2 of 70% CMC, Vellore were not allowed to participate.

The online counselling will select candidates for PG Degree/ Diploma course in government colleges based on rank by applying the rule of reservation /200 point roster method, whichever is applicable.
