AFMC Announces Seat Allotment Results For PG Medical Admission, Details
Pune: Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) announced the seat allotment results for PG courses 2022.
The list includes NEET PG Roll No, AI Rank, Name, Subjects Allotted, and Institute. A total of 373 seats are allocated for PG courses.

Recently on 9th November 2022 and 10th November 2022, the mop-up round for PG Medical was held. Before applying for the mop round, the candidates were asked to ascertain whether they meet the requisite eligibility criteria; final eligibility will be ascertained at the time of admission.
Civilian doctors will have to undergo a medical examination by a duly constituted medical board to assess their fitness for a commission per the criteria. They will be admitted only if found fit.
There is no reservation based on caste/ religion, and the selection is purely based on merit. The number of candidates to be admitted in any discipline is determined by the number of PG teachers available, the student-teacher ratio, and any other criteria laid down by the NMC/ affiliated universities from time to time. The exact number of available seats will be communicated to the Counseling committee before the Counseling session.
Eligibility –
1. Admission to the postgraduate medical courses at AFMS institutions, subject to the priorities laid down in the prospectus, is open to graduates of medical colleges recognized by the National Medical Council and who have registered themselves as Registered Medical Practitioners with any State Medical Council recognized by NMC. In addition, students who have completed/are completing an internship on or before 31st July 2022, as notified by NBE in their Information Bulletin, are eligible to apply. However, the Provisional Registration Certificate / Permanent Registration Certificate should be available at the time of admission.
2. The candidate must be a citizen of India (except Priority-II candidates).
3. Priority-II (Friendly Foreign Candidates) sponsored by the Government and approved by the DGAFMS should have passed their MBBS / equivalent examination (Authority: Govt of India, Ministry of Defence letter No F/PC- 8510/DGAFMS/DG-1/345/2013/D(Med) dated 06th March 2013) and also qualified NEET-PG 2022. As per NMC guidelines, Priority-II candidates must apply for temporary registration in NMC under NMC Act.
