AIIMS declares INI SS July 2026 round 1 results, candidates must confirm admission by June 29

New Delhi: The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, has declared the first round of online institute allocation results for the INI SS July 2026 session.
The allocation covers admissions to DM and MCh courses offered by AIIMS New Delhi and other participating Institutes of National Importance, including PGIMER Chandigarh, JIPMER Puducherry, NIMHANS Bengaluru and SCTIMST Thiruvananthapuram.
According to the result notification, the institute allocation has been prepared based on candidates' performance in the INI-SS entrance examination conducted on April 25, 2026, and the choices submitted during the online institute allocation process held from June 13 to June 19, 2026.
Eligible candidates were considered under two separate merit lists—the AIIMS Merit List (AML) for AIIMS and PGIMER Chandigarh, and the Common Merit List (CML) for JIPMER Puducherry, NIMHANS Bengaluru and SCTIMST Thiruvananthapuram.
The notification contains the roll number-wise allotment list across multiple DM and MCh super-speciality disciplines. The first-round allocation also includes admissions across several major super-speciality programmes and numerous MCh courses at participating institutions.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
1 This list includes all provisionally qualified candidates who were eligible for the 1st Round of Online Institute Allocation based on preliminary scrutiny of certificates uploaded as per notifications published on the website & SMS/Email sent regarding the same within the prescribed time period.
2 Candidature under Sponsored/OCI/Foreign National has been considered based on certificates uploaded/Sent and other information provided by the candidates.
3 This online Institute allocation list is provisional, subject to the verification of details provided at the time of registration and at the time of reporting as per the eligibility criteria published in the prospectus.
4 Candidates who did not participate in the 1st Round of Online Institute Allocation are not eligible for the 2 nd Round of Online Institute Allocation, but can participate in the Open/Spot Round of Institute Allocation (if any).
5 Candidates who have been allotted their first choice in the 1st Round of Online Institute Allocation are required to mandatorily report & join at the respective allocated Institute and will not be considered for allocation in any further round of allocation.
6 For the 2nd round, the order of the Online Institute Allocation process will be based on the merit order used and choices filled for the 1st Round, with no further change.
PROCEDURE TO BE FOLLOWED BY CANDIDATES WHO HAVE BEEN ALLOTTED IN THE INSTITUTE AGAINST THEIR COURSE/SUBJECT IN THE 1st ROUND OF ONLINE INSTITUTE ALLOCATION
All candidates who have been allotted an Institute from their filled choices in the 1st Round of Online Institute Allocation are required to log in through the online Institute allocation portal and actively exercise the following options from 24th June, 2026, to 11.00 AM till 29th June, 2026. Failure to select any of the options below will lead to forfeiture of the allocated Institute and the candidate will become ineligible to participate in the 2nd Round.
OPTION 1: Accept the allotted Institute and do not wish to participate in further rounds of Institute Allocation.
OPTION 2: Accept the allotted Institute and want to participate in the 2nd ROUND of Institute Allocation.
DOCUMENTS
List of Documents/Certificates that are required to be deposited in Original/DD (Three lakh) along with one set of self-attested photocopy as applicable.
I. Offer Letter.
II. Institute allocation letter.
III. Application Form (Filled at the time of registration).
IV. Admit Card issued by AIIMS.
V. In case of a Sponsored Candidate, a sponsored certificate and NOC/Movement order to be issued by the competent sponsoring authority.
VI. In case of a foreign national candidate, a citizenship certificate, NOC from the concerned ministry and MoHFW, Government of India and Passport, etc.
VII. 10th or 12th passing/Birth Certificate showing his/her date of birth.
VIII. MBBS degree/Passing/Provisional Certificate and all years’ mark sheet.
IX. MBBS Internship Certificate.
X. MD/MS/DNB degree/Passing/Provisional Certificate and mark sheet of respective course.
XI. DMC/NMC/State Medical Council Registration Certificate.
XII. Service bond made with any Institution/State Government (if any). If so, NOC with service bond to be produced.
XIII. Aadhaar Card.
XIV Pan Card.
XV Bank Pass Book.
XVI. OBC/SC/ST/EWS or Ex-Serviceman certificate if you have taken any age relaxation.
POLICY REGARDING THE DEPOSITING OF DOCUMENTS/CERTIFICATES/DD
The claim to the allotted Institute by candidates is subject to verification of original documents for eligibility, as applicable, as well as identity verification of the candidate. If a candidate fails to submit all required certificates (original or photocopies with DD), his/her candidature shall stand cancelled, the Institute offered in 1st Round shall be vacated for the next round, and he/she will not be allowed to participate in 2nd Round of the Institute allocation process. However, the candidate will be eligible for the Open/spot Round of Institute Allocation (if any), subject to the fulfilment of eligibility criteria.
