AIIMS Patna to conduct Institute Level Spot Counseling on February 26th to fill vacant PG medical seats, details

Patna- The All India Institute Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Patna has issued a notice regarding the Institute Level Spot Counseling for the January 2024 session for filling the vacant postgraduate (PG) seats in MD, MS, MDS, and M.Ch (6 years) courses.

The institute-level spot counselling is scheduled to be held on February 26, 2024, at the AIIMS Patna. The counselling is being conducted as some seats were left vacant after the open round of counselling. However, the final position of the vacant seat at AIIMS Patna will be displayed at 12:00 PM on 26 February 2024 itself.

As per the notice, there are total 13 vacant seats among UR, OBC, SC, ST and EWS categories. A total of 6 seats are vacant in UR, 5 in OBC, 1 in SC, 0 in ST and 1 in EWS.

As per the notice, the number of seats and/or department/subject/speciality may change and the same will be displayed on the official website of AIIMS Patna, which is mentioned in the notice. Therefore, eligible candidates are requested to keep visiting the AIIMS Patna website regularly for all the further updates.

PROCESS-

The interested candidates who are seeking admission to the Institute level Spot Counselling can register themselves online by clicking on the link available at the AIIMS Patna website by 05:00 pm on 25 February 2024. The registration link will be available on the website of AIIMS Patna from 12:00 noon on February 22, 2024.

Further, the registered candidates will have to report in person at e-Classroom, Medical College Building/Admin, AIIMS Patna by 09:00 AM on 26th February 2024 for document verification. During reporting, candidates must bring some original documents and one set of self-attested photocopies.

DOCUMENTS-

1 Registration Form of INI-CET-PG.

2 Admit Cards issued by AIIMS New Delhi.

3 Score Card/Rank Letter issued by AIIMS New Delhi.

4 10th class Marksheet/Birth Certificate bearing the date of birth.

5 MBBS/BDS Marksheet of all Professional Examination.

6 MBBS/BDS Degree Certificate /Provisional Certificate.

7 Internship Completion Certificate.

8 Medical/Dental Council Registration Certificate (MBBS/BDS).

9 10 Nos. of latest passport size coloured Photographs.

10 Category certificate, if applicable.

ELIGIBILITY-

Candidates with a score of 50% or higher in the INI-CET-PG (Online Entrance Examination administered by AIIMS Delhi) are eligible to participate in the Institute Level Spot Counseling, irrespective of their rank in the entrance examination provided they are not holding any PG seat anywhere in the country.

IMPORTANT POINTS

1 If the candidates fail to bring the original documents will be considered non-eligible to participate in the Institute level Spot Counselling for admission to PG (MD, MS, MDS and M.Ch. 6 years).

2 The candidates appearing for Institute level Spot Counselling are advised to come prepared with all original documents/baggage so that if allotted any seat, they can join the course/institute from 26th Feb 2024 and/or before 29th February 2024.

3. Institute preference will be applicable as per 200 point roster in the above-mentioned counselling and the details of the same will be conveyed on the day of counselling.
