BFUHS notifies on new PG medical courses, seat increase, check details

Punjab: The Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) Faridkot, has announced the introduction of new PG medical courses and an increase in seats for existing PG specialities in Government Medical Colleges across Punjab for the academic session 2025-26.
According to the official notice issued by the BFUHS in this regard, the National Medical Commission (NMC), through its Medical Assessment & Rating Board (MARB), has issued Letters of Permission (LoP) for starting new PG courses and enhancing seat capacity in existing ones.
These changes will take effect immediately and are applicable for admissions under the National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2025.

Through the notice, BFUHS has also advised all the NEET PG 2025 candidates to take note of these additions and revisions, as the new and increased seats have been added to the ongoing PG admission prospectus for the upcoming counselling rounds.

BFUHS had earlier released the schedule for the 1st round of online counselling for admissions to MD, MS, DNB, Postgraduate Diploma, PG Diploma in Sports Medicine, and Six-Month Ultrasonography Training Courses in Punjab under the NEET PG 2025.
