CEE Informs on Online Provisional Mop-Up Round For PG Medical Admissions
Kerala: Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) informed about the online provisional mop-up round for PG Medical admissions. The mop round ineligible list has also been released.
As per the notice, the online provisional mop-up allotment list to the PG Medical (Degree) courses 2022 to fill up vacant seats in the Government Medical Colleges in the State, Regional Cancer Centre (RCC), Thiruvananthapuram and Private Self Financing Medical colleges is published in the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in.
As per clause 10.2.3 of the Prospectus for admission to PG Medical Courses, the followings types of candidates have been excluded from the mop-up allotment -
1. Those candidates who are admitted in an All India or State seat (through allotment in the first or second phase/round).
2. Those candidates who have vacated their seats (allotted in phase 1 or phase 2) after the last date of joining phase 2.
3. Those candidates who are allotted seats through All India Mop-up allotment.
The allotment list is available in the candidate portal on the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations website, www.cee.kerala.gov.in. The provisional allotment is subject to change, and the final allotment will be published after addressing complaints, if any, on 22.11.2022. The candidates were asked to send the objections by 2:00 pm today.
The candidates note that the service quota seats have not been included in this provisional mop-up allotment.
The mop round ineligible list has also been released. The detailed list is enclosed in the notice below.
The course duration, including University Examination, is 3 years in the case of PG Degree Courses. There shall be an exemption of one year in the duration of PG degree courses for candidates who have done a PG Diploma course of two years and have been awarded a Diploma in the same subject. The candidates must have acquired the PG Diploma pass certificate on or before 30/04/2022 to be eligible for a reduction in the course duration. No other reduction in the I/5372195/2022 2 duration of the course shall be granted.
The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations conducts the counseling process for admission to the PG Medical course based on the NEET PG exam. Candidates who have qualified for the NEET PG can appear for counseling for admission to PG courses.
