CENTAC releases Revised Seat Matrix, 96 PG medical seats available for mop-up round, Check out Merit List

Puducherry: The Government of Puducherry Centralized Admission Committee (CENTAC) has recently through a written notice released the revised seat matrix and merit list for Mop-Up round and round 2 admitted list for PG Medical.

A total of 96 seats are allotted for the Mop-Up round. IGMC & RI has 5 (GQ) seats, PIMS has 14 (GQ) and 11 (MQ) seats, Sri Manakula Vinayagar has 15 (GQ) and 21 (MQ) seats, and Sri Venkateswara has 15 (GQ) and 15 (MQ) seats.

CENTAC has further released the round 2 admitted list for PG Medical, college wise.

The list of colleges includes –

1. Indira Gandhi Medical College & Research Institute

2. Pondicherry Institute of Medical Science

3. Sri Manakula Vinayagar Medical College & Hospital

4. Sri Venkateswara Medical College Hospital & Research Centre

The allotment list is subject to the outcome of court cases. The claim for admission under the category is subject to the verification of original (including residence) certificates at the time of admission. NEET PG cut off mark - GE: 302, GE-PH: 283, OBC/MBC/SC/EBC/BCM/ST/BT : 265

Mop-Up counselling is carried out in hybrid mode (online and offline modes). Candidates can choose any one mode. Candidates who deposit fee money only can participate. Seats will be allotted only after paying the entire tuition fee. The fees can be paid through DD or RTGS, or NEFT. The candidates can transfer the fee in advance.

Mop-Up counselling will be done in sessions. In the first session, reservations will be allowed for Government Quota seats. After that, unfilled reserved seats will be converted into unreserved seats and offered as per merit.

CENTAC is a common admission portal to Puducherry colleges and is established by the Government of Puducherry.
