DHS Meghalaya Invites Online Applications For Post MBBS Diploma Admissions, check out details

DHS Meghalaya Invites Online Applications For Post MBBS Diploma Admissions, check out details

Meghalaya: The Directorate of Health Services (DHS) invites online applications for admission into POST-MBBS DIPLOMA PG-NEET-based degree courses in DGO, DCH in Ganesh Das Govt. Maternal & Child Health Hospital (Affiliated to CPS, Mumbai).

Interested candidates need to send their application form along with the required documents and a Non-refundable application fee of INR 1000 in the form of DO in favour of "Director of Health Services (MI)/ Convener Counseling & Admission Committee" and send it to The Office of the Director of Health Services (MI), Laitumkhrah, Shillong Meghalaya, PIN-793003 through the Registered post, speed post or courier or by email: dhsmirneghalavaPgmail.com latest by 5th February 2023,12:00 PM. Application received after the due last date shall not be accepted.

Applications will be verified soon after completion of the application process, and the list of provisionally shortlisted eligible candidates shall be put up on the official website https://meghealth.2ov.inialong with the date for 1st round of counselling wherein provisional allotment of seats will be given.

Suppose the candidates are found to have provided false information or certificates or withheld or concealed any information. In that case, their application will be rejected, and admission will be cancelled, as the case may be. Disciplinary/legal action as deemed proper will be initiated against them. Besides, the same candidates will not be allowed to participate in the admission process in the next three academic years.

The admission will be made once a year. The academic session will commence tentatively from February 2023 unless otherwise notified. The Post Graduate Diploma courses are of 2 years duration from the date of Commencement of the course.

The courses of study and the registration of candidates for post-graduate diploma study at the respective institutions in the subjects concerned will be regulated by the College of Physicians and Surgeons, Mumbai, in consultation with convener CPS Diploma Courses Meghalaya.

The seat matrix with available subjects for the In-service candidates of Meghalaya will be displayed on the official website of CPS, Mumbai and the official website https://me2healith.gov.ini.

The courses available are –

1. Diploma in Gynecology & Obstetrics (DGO)

2. Diploma in Pediatrics (DCH)

Seat reservations –

The reservation percentage will be 40% for the Khasi/ Jaintia category, 40% for the Garo category, 15% for the Open category, and 5% for other Scheduled tribes and Scheduled Castes.

Eligibility criteria -

To be eligible, a candidate must have passed MBBS from an MCl/NMC recognized institution/qualified Foreign Medical Graduates Examination-MCIFMGE] and must have the following criteria:

The candidate must be a permanent resident of Meghalaya. a) The candidate must have qualified for NEET PG 2022.

At the time of application, the candidates must be employed regularly under a regular basis/Adhoc 3(f) in the Dept. of Health & Family Welfare Government of Meghalaya, provided that they have at least 10 years of service in hand before superannuation.

Candidates fulfilling criteria 1 & 2 who are not regular In-Service/Adhoc 3(f) serving in any Private Health Institution in the State may also submit their application forms. However, the order of preference is —

1. In-Service Doctors

2. Adhoc 3(f)

3. Private Doctors

Selection process -

1. Document verification, counselling and provisional admission to the course shall be made on the same day at O/o Directorate of Health Service (MI), Shillong.

2. Merit list shall be prepared and displayed soon after the completion of the document verification. Once the merit list is prepared and displayed process of counselling and allotment shall be done.

3. Candidate who wishes to join any of the CPS courses mentioned under point "E" above is required to pay a sum of INR 85000 in the form of DD (Non-Refundable). In addition, the candidate is required to pay a non-refundable amount of INR 75000 in the form of DD (In favour of "Plantronics Pvt. Ltd." Payable at Pune) towards the cost of an Electronic Paperless Device (EPD).

4. Candidates shall receive assigned provisional admission acknowledgement.

5. EPD contains study material, shall record daily attendance and shall be used for 360-degree monitoring of the academic activity of CPS students, with the help of data collected and uploaded by EPD on the CPS server.

6. Fees, once deposited in the form of 'DO', are not refundable.

7. After paying a non-refundable amount to CPS, the candidate shall receive an allotment number and other essential documents directly from CPS via email or post.

8. DHS (MI), Meghalaya, will verify the allotment letter and issue a "Joining Order" to the selected candidates. A Joining order shall include the name of the candidates, subject, allotted institutions and joining date. Undertaking and Bond should be executed at the time of admission stating their willingness to serve in any posting deemed fit by the Government.

9. Once the candidate joins the allotted institution and starts working, the institution shall issue a "Post Holding Certificate" mentioning the date of joining. (The office of the convener PG-Diploma Meghalaya shall provide necessary guidance).

Execution of the service bond -

1. Candidates must submit the signed Bond on the day of document verification and spot counselling. Request for delayed submission or any undertaking form shall not be entertained.
