DME Assam notifies on round 5 NEET counselling for BDS admissions 2025, details

Guwahati: The Directorate of Medical Education (DME Assam), has released an notice for 1st-year BDS courses in Government Dental Colleges of Assam following the completion of the 5th round of online counselling for the NEET UG 2025 session.
According to the official notification, the provisional select list of candidates after the 5th round of online counselling for admission into the vacant BDS seats in the Government Dental Colleges of Assam under Assam State quota seats, session 2025 has been published which is now available in the official website of this Directorate of Assam.
All provisionally selected candidates are hereby directed to report to the office of the Principals of the respective Colleges with following terms and conditions on 10th January, 2026 for admission and necessary document verification, failing which his/her allotment shall be cancelled.
1. All the admission shall be provisional and it will be subject to fulfilment of all the requisite eligibility criteria as per the MBBS/BDS Admission Rule, 2017 (amended upto 2025).
2. Candidates who were admitted in Special Stray round of counselling and subsequently allotted another Dental College, shall have to report to the newly allotted Dental College with the acknowledgement receipts/documentary proof of submitting the certificates/testimonials etc. issued by the previous Dental College.
3. Candidates shall have to report to the allotted college and deposit the original Admit Cards, Marks Sheets, Pass Certificates of HSLC and HSSLC or Equivalent examination, caste certificate and documents as specified in the MBBS/BDS Admission Rule, 2017 (amendment upto 2025), to the Principal of the respective Colleges at the time of admission on receipt of acknowledgement from the college authority.
4. Candidates must bring all necessary Original documents and Annexures along with Admission and Counselling fees (amounting approx. Rs. 25,000/-) at the time of admission.
5. Admission of the candidates are subject to the satisfactory Medical fitness of the candidate at the time of admission.
6. If any candidate furnishes false information/ declaration at the time of online selection or admission, his/her admission is liable to be cancelled at any point of time. Criminal proceedings shall be taken against such candidates for submission of false, fabricated documents/information under appropriate law.
7. All the candidates shall have to enter into an agreement as per the admission rule in prescribed format which is available in this Directorate’s website Candidates will have to submit the agreement within 15 days from the date of their admission to the office of the Principal of the respective college.
