DME Gujarat Releases Instruction For Round 3 Refund For PG Admission
Gujarat: The Director of Medical Education (DME Gujarat) has released the details related to the refund process for round 3 of the postgraduate admission process, academic year – 2022-23.
Per the notice, the refund process will be completed until noon on 18th January 2023. Candidates, who have either been admitted/not admitted in Post Graduate Medical (MD/MS/Diploma/MDS) and are eligible for the refund from the tuition fee paid at ACPPGMEC, have to fill in the online details at http://www.medadmgujarat.org/pg/home.aspx regarding their refund.
The following details have to be filled in –
1. Bank Name
2. Bank Account No
3. Bank MICR No
4. IFSC No
5. Account Holder Name
For NRI Candidates: For the refund of fees paid at ACPPGMEC, the NRI Candidates must fill in the details of the Indian Account. Do not fill in the details of the NRE/NRO account. The refund amount will be paid through Electronic Transfer to their bank account.
The following are the reasons for the failure of the transaction –
1. Mismatch in filled Account Details: Wrong Account No.; Wrong IFSC Code; etc
2. Dormant/Freeze account due to banking reasons
Candidates note that if any mistake is found in the details of the refund, then report ACPPGMEC through the following e-mail: medadmgujarat2018@gmail.com.
The Government of Gujarat, in the Legislative Assembly, has passed an act, Act No.3 of 2008, called "Gujarat Professional Educational Medical Colleges or Institutions Act, 2007," to make special provision for the regulation of admission in the Professional Medical educational courses in the State and fixation of fees in such colleges or institutions and matter connected in addition to that. The Government of Gujarat had constituted the "Admission Committee for Professional Post Graduate Medical Educational Courses (ACPPGMEC)" to regulate the admission of candidates to the Professional MD/MS/Diploma & MDS degree courses. The mission assigned to this Committee is to carry out the counselling process fairly and transparently. The admission process is conducted by this Committee strictly based on the candidate's merit.
Recently, the Medical Dialogues team reported that DME had invited online consent from candidates willing to participate in the 6th offline round (4th stray vacancy offline round) for BAMS & BHMS courses. To participate in this counselling, the candidates were asked to log in to the website http://medadmgujarat.org/ug/home.aspx using their User-ID and Password to give online consent and select the help centre for physical presence till 04:00 pm on 13th January 2023.
