Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences Invites Applications for MSc Nuclear Medicine 2025-2027, Know All Details Here
Uttar Pradesh- Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences (Dr RMLIMS) is inviting online applications from eligible Indian nationals for admission into the MSc Nuclear Medicine 2-year course for the session 2025-2027. In this regard, Dr. RMLIMS has released an information brochure containing all important information regarding admission to the said course.
The Atomic Energy Regulatory Board (AERB) approved the MSc Nuclear Medicine program which will be conducted at Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow. The degree to the successful candidates will be awarded by Dr RMLIMS, Lucknow. The total duration of the course is 2 years + 06 months of compulsory internship.
As per the information brochure, the exam will be held in the 1st week of January 2025, however, the date will be informed through the hall ticket/website. The final result is to appear on the Institute’s website on or after 12:00 PM the next day of examination. The counselling for admission into the MSc Nuclear Medicine will be on the next day of the exam at RMLIMS Academic Block. The details of the exact time & Venue will be displayed on the Admit Card/Website.
Meanwhile, the online registration of applications has already started on 07 December 2024 and the last date for submission of online application form is 22 December 2024. The application form has to be filled out online, it should not be received by hand or by post/courier. Along with the registration form candidates also have to pay the registration fee, where General/EWS/OBC candidates have to pay Rs.1000, SC/ST candidates have to pay Rs.600 (including GST), however, bank draft will not be accepted.
ELIGIBILITY
The candidates with a BSc in Nuclear Medicine Technology or B.Sc with Physics as one of the main subjects from any recognized University / Institution with an aggregate 60% (for Unreserved & 55% for Reserved Category) Marks are eligible for admission into the MSc Nuclear Medicine course for the session 2025-2027. Meanwhile, it is to be noted that the maximum age for the admission to M.Sc. course shall be 30 years. However, age relaxation to reserved category candidates will be for the domicile of U.P only.
DOCUMENTS
At the time of admission the selected candidates should provide the following original documents-
1 High School (or equivalent) Pass certificate.
2 Intermediate (or equivalent) Pass certificate.
3 High School (or equivalent) Marks Sheet.
4 Intermediate (or equivalent) Marks Sheet.
5 B.Sc (or equivalent) Marks Sheet/Pass certificate.
6 Medical Fitness. (Issued from an authorized Govt. Medical officer).
7 A character Certificate duly Signed by the Principal or Head of the School/ Gazetted Officer. This would have been made within six months of the date of admission.
8 Reserved category candidates will be required to furnish a caste certificate & domicile certificate duly issued by the competent authority in the appropriate format.
9 Two passport-size colour photographs (taken within six months of the date of admission).

ENTRANCE EXAMINATION
1 Admissions are subject to a written qualifying entrance test only. The test shall be of two-hour duration and shall contain 100 single best responses, multiple choice objective type questions. 2. Minimum qualifying marks will be kept at 50% for the Unreserved and 45% for Reserved Category candidates.
3. Use of any unfair means is prohibited during the examination such as calculator, PDA, cellular phone, digital diary, laptop, pager, any computer, calculator-like material Bluetooth or Bluetooth gadget, electronic watches, log table, chits, notebooks etc. There may be checking and frisking before admission into the examination hall and during the examination, if any candidate is found any unfair means or otherwise interact with any other candidates, his/her candidature may be cancelled and appropriate legal action may be initiated.
4 Candidates should report at the examination centre at least 03 hours before the start of the exam.

RESERVATION POLICY
1 Dr RMLIMS is governed by the reservation policies of the Government of Uttar Pradesh as issued and amended from time to time. Reserved category candidates having domicile other than Uttar Pradesh will be treated as General Category candidates for all purposes.
2 Candidates willing to avail reservation shall submit a caste certificate & domicile certificate of Uttar Pradesh only. Non-submission of any domicile certificate or domicile of state/union territories other than Uttar Pradesh shall be treated as an unreserved category.
