Dr YSR University of Health Sciences releases Schedule For Special Stray Vacancy Round For NEET PG, NEET MDS admissions, details

Andhra Pradesh: Dr YSR University of Health Sciences has announced the schedule for a special stray vacancy round for NEET PG and NEET MDS courses under the competent authority quota and management quota. The seat matrix for the same has also been released.

As per the notice, the candidates can apply till 5.00 PM on 19-11-2023. The online applications are invited along with the uploading of scanned original certificates from the eligible candidates for Admission into vacant seats of Post Graduate Medical Degree / Diploma Courses. For Registration fees, Tuition fee and other details, refer to Prospectus.

The Merit Lists both under the Competent Authority Quota and Management Quota placed on the University Website and its addendum/corrigendum, including the Eligible List for Stray Vacancies notified by Dr. YSRUHS, are treated as Null and Void, and only fresh registrations will be considered for this Special Stray Vacancy Round Counselling. The same application will be considered for all the rounds of Special Stray Vacancy counseling, if any.

Candidates must join the seat allotted in this special stray round if the seat is allotted, failing which candidates shall be debarred for one academic year, i.e., 2024-25, for admissions into Medical Colleges in the State of Andhra Pradesh.

All the Vacant seats for this Special Stray round are “Unreserved Open General seats”.

The candidates should have secured the following cut-off scores and above in -

NEET PG-2023 –

1. General Category - ZERO percentile

2. SC/ST/BC-A/B/C/D/E, SC-PwBD/ST-PwBD/ BC- A/B/C/D/E – PwBD - ZERO percentile

3. UR-PwBD - ZERO percentile

The cut-off date for completion of the Internship: 11-08-2023

NEET MDS-2023 –

Eligibility –

Candidates who are not allotted/holding any PG(Medical/Dental) seat either in All India Quota or State Quota are eligible to participate in this special stray round.

Non-eligibility –

1. Candidates who have been allotted any PG (Medical/Dental) seat in any Phase, including Mop Up rounds and stray vacancy rounds conducted by Dr. YSRUHS for Competent Authority Quota (CQ) and Management Quota (MQ) are not eligible to participate in special stray vacancy round.

2. Candidates joined/holding any PG (Medical/Dental) seat under Dr YSR UHS / All India Quota / KNR UHS, Telangana / Any Other States are not eligible for this special stray vacancy round.

3. Allotted Candidates of Round-3 of AIQ/Stray round of AIQ / CQ, MQ stray rounds of Dr. YSRUHS / Stray round of KNR UHS, TS are not eligible for this special stray vacancy round.

4. Candidates who have not exercised/participated in web options in any Phase of CQ seats of Dr. YSRUHS are not eligible for this special stray vacancy round.

If the names of the candidates found in the list of candidates allotted under the Special Stray Vacancy Round by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) are to be shared by MCC on 25.11.2023, they will not be considered under this notification.

If it is found that an ineligible candidate has opted, the candidature of such candidates will not be considered for allotments.

Mere applying under this notification does not confer any right to claim a seat, and the candidature is subject to the availability of seats. Hence, the candidates are advised to take a calculated decision before applying under this notification. The fee, once paid, shall not be refunded under any circumstances.

Online application forms without uploading mandatory Certificates, Passport-size photo, signatures, and incomplete information will be automatically rejected and will not be considered for determining the Merit position in respective categories using the NEET-PG/MDS-2023 Rank.

If the information furnished by the candidate in the application is incorrect or false or found fake and enclosed forged certificates/documents during the admission process or later, then the University will take action that it deems fit as per rules against the candidate, including cancellation of the seat, in case already admitted, without any notice. Further action against such a candidate will be taken by the University.

Registration, along with uploading of Scanned Original certificates and exercising web options, will be permitted only once, irrespective of the Number of counsellors. No separate notification will be given for verification of original certificates. Therefore, the candidates should register and upload all the mandatory Certificates without fail.

The Candidates are hereby informed that if they have secured admission to medical colleges of other States, joined the course, and if they are involved in blocking of the seats in Dr. YSR UHS, the University will initiate legal action, and the same will be informed to the National Medical Commission for further course of action.

A total of 289 seats are available for the special stray vacancy round. PG Medical has 226 seats, and PG Dental has 65 seats vacant.
