GMCH Chandigarh begins NEET PG stray vacancy round 2025, apply now

Chandigarh: The Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) has begun the stray vacancy round of Chandigarh counselling for admission to MD and MS courses for the academic session 2025.
Eligible candidates can apply online through the official website till February 19 (until 4 PM).
Stray vacancy round is being conducted to fill the seats which were not allotted after the third round of State Quota counselling.
According to the schedule, the list of candidates with missing documents will be released on February 20. Following this, the window for submitting pending documents (online) will open on February 21. Following this, the provisional list of eligible candidates and the seat matrix will be released on February 21.
After this, the choice filling and locking process will take place on the same day and the final result and seat allotment will be declared on February 23. Meanwhile, the selected candidates will have to report and join the allotted institute as per the instructions given after the result is declared.
It is to be noted that candidates who have already secured and appeared for All India Quota (AIQ) or State Counselling, including private or deemed university quota seats, will not be eligible to participate in the stray vacancy round.
The move is aimed at ensuring that all available postgraduate medical seats are filled before the start of the academic session.
GENERAL DOCUMENTS
Students have to keep the following documents ready and submit them during the admission process-
1 Recent passport-size photograph.
2 Class 10 certificate highlighting date of birth.
3 MBBS marksheet.
4 Internship completion certificate.
5 Migration certificate.
6 NMC or state medical council registration certificate.
7 NEET PG 2025 scorecard.
8 Caste certificate (if applicable).
9 PwBD certificate from NMC-notified centre (if applicable).
