INI CET July 2024: AIIMS Cancels Candidature of 5 open round candidates
New Delhi- All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has informed through a notice that the candidature for seat allotment for admission to PG courses of Institutes of National Importance Combined Entrance Test (INI-CET) for the July 2024 session for some candidates have been cancelled and no further claims will be accepted.
This decision has been taken due to some candidates not providing their correct bank details in the email and also due to no response from some candidates even after being given the opportunity. In this regard, AIIMS has earlier allowed the provisionally eligible candidates for the Open Round of Seat Allotment of INICET July 2024 session to provide details in response to the email on an urgent basis by 05.00 PM on 07 August 2024, however, no reply has been received from these candidates.
Meanwhile, in the notice, AIIMS has also mentioned the list of candidates whose candidature for seat allotment for admission to PG courses of INIs for the July 2024 session has been cancelled. As per the list, 5 candidates have not uploaded the payment details or have submitted incomplete/invalid details, out of which 4 are from MD/MS (M.Ch. (6 yrs)/DM (6 yrs) course and 1 is from MDS.
These PG courses are offered for the July 2024 session at AIIMS, New Delhi, as well as other AIIMS, JIPMER Puducherry, NIMHANS Bengaluru, PGIMER Chandigarh, and SCTIMST Thiruvananthapuram, for MD, MS, M.Ch. (6 years), DM (6 years), and MDS admissions. INI-CET for the July 2024 session was conducted on Sunday, May 19, 2024, and its examination centres will be held in all cities across India.
The registration and exercise of options for the open round of online seat allocation for the INI-CET for the July 2024 session for admission to PG courses was started on 24th July 2024 and was ended on 30th July 2024.
All candidates who have registered for the Open Round of Seat Allocation are required to complete all necessary formalities and exercising choices till 30 August 2024 (05:00 pm). After the final submission/closing date and time, no changes in the choice of order of preference will be allowed. The candidates can make any number of choices, edit the choices and reorder the choices.
