Puducherry- The Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) has released a prospectus detailing the important information regarding the Institute of National Importance Super-Specialty Entrance Test (INI-SS) for DM, M.Ch. & MD Hospital Administration courses January 2025 Session

The prospectus contains details such as admission fees, penalties, eligibility criteria, salary/stipend, hostel, etc. As per the prospectus, the course is commencing today i.e. 01 January 2024, the last date for admission is 28 February 2025 and the last date for fulfillment of eligibility for admission is 31 January 2025. No candidate will be admitted to the DM/MCh course beyond 28th February 2025 (for the January 2025 session).

The registration for INI-SS for DM, M.Ch. and MD Hospital Administration courses January 2025 session started on 28th September 2024 and ended on 14th October 2024. The written exam through online (CBT) mode was conducted on 25th October 2024. However, the final result will be declared soon.

Below are the details regarding the INI-SS for DM, M.Ch. & MD Hospital Administration courses January 2025 Session-

METHOD OF SELECTION AND ADMISSION PROCESS

The selection of candidates is based on the INI-SS entrance examination without an interview component. Allotment of the institution is based on merit scores and the choice exercised by the candidates in the online INI-SS counselling process conducted by AIIMS, New Delhi.

Candidates who have opted for a seat at JIPMER and were selected through counselling shall undergo a medical examination and biometric (iris/signature) verification. After due verification of the documents, clearance of biometric parameters and medical fitness certified by a competent authority nominated by the Institute, an admission letter will be issued. The Original Certificates will be retained in the Academic Section and returned only after the candidate completes the course or if relieved in mid-way for any reason. The academic session will commence on January 01st, 2025.

All candidates must be physically present in person for admission. No request for an authorized representative on behalf of the candidate will be entertained. If a candidate fails to come for admission in person, he/she will be marked as absent, and the admission will be cancelled. Admissions close on February 28th, 2025.

DOCUMENTS

The Candidate should submit the following certificates in original along with one set of self-attested copies at the time of admission-

1 Hall Ticket.

2 Rank Letter, offer letter, and seat allocation slip from INI-SS.

3 Proof of Date of Birth (Birth Certificate or X Std. Certificate).

4 MBBS Degree Certificate.

5 MD/MS/DNB Degree Certificate/Provisional Pass Certificate.

6 MD/MS/DNB Marksheets.

7 Character and Conduct Certificate from the Head of the Institute last studied.

8 Residence Certificate issued by Revenue Authority, not below the rank of Tahsildar.

9 Transfer Certificate from the Head of the Institution last studied / Migration Certificate from the University last studied.

10 Permanent Medical Registration Certificates from the National Medical Commission (or State Medical Council).

11 Registration of Additional Medical qualification with the National Medical Commission (or State Medical Council).

12 Service candidates should produce a NOC/Relieving Order and a certificate granting study leave with or without pay, as the case may be (If applicable).

13 Four Passport-size colour photographs identical to the photograph uploaded in the application.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

a Candidates should be Indian Nationals.

b Candidates should have passed MD/MS/DNB degrees from any Institute/University recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC).

c The degree mentioned above must be registered with the National Medical Commission/State Medical Council.

d Candidates should have completed the qualifying postgraduate course on or before January 31st, 2025.

LEAVING THE COURSE DURING RESIDENCY (MID-STREAM DEPARTURE)

Any candidate who discontinues the course at any time is relieved on his request for any reason, the fees once paid will not be refunded. In addition to the terms and conditions, the penalty for discontinuance of the Residency scheme contract executed by the candidate will apply for relieving the candidate and the other terms & conditions governed by CCS rules from time to time. In addition to the penalty amount, the candidate must give either a one-month notice period (or) should pay a one-month salary/stipend as detailed below-
