KEA releases mop up schedule, 234 seats available PG Dental admissions, Check out allotment details
Karnataka: The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has informed about the MOP round schedule and allotment process for PG Dental courses. Besides, the counselling body has released the seat matrix.
Eligible reserved category candidates SCG and 2AG – 1 to the last rank will have to report on 31st January 2022 at 10.45 am. All reserved candidates GM, GPM, OPN, OTH – 1 to the previous rank will have to report on 31st January 2022 at 11.30 am.
KEA has notified that MOP UP round seat allotment to dental seats will be conducted as per the directions of the new Government order. Those who have already verified their documents but are not allotted seats are only eligible to participate in the MOP UP round.
College wise, course wise, category wise available for MOP UP round seat is available on the KEA website along with the fee structure. The candidates can only enter the premises if they have a verification slip, demand draft, and original documents.
Once the seats are exhausted, counseling will be stopped, and for this reason, candidates are requested to keep checking the website for seat details before participating in the MOP UP round. If the seat allotted in the MOP UP round is canceled, the entire fee paid will be fortified.
Candidates who have been allotted seats in the 1st and 2nd rounds cannot participate in the MOP UP round. After allotment of seats in the 1st or 2nd round or any round of all India counseling for deemed or central universities, the candidates who have joined the college are not eligible for the MOP UP round. Candidates who have not opted for any choice in the 1st and 2nd rounds do not qualify for the MOP UP round.
Demand Draft has to be drawn by the candidate favoring The Executive Director Karnataka Examination Authority, payable at Bangalore. The candidates who wish to attend the MOP UP round should prepare the demand draft for the fees. No demand draft will be issued at KEA premises, so no cash or cheque to be brought. Multiple demand drafts can be obtained.
The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has released the seat matrix for MOP Dental PG courses for private and other quota.
Private Quota seat matrix –
The total number of seats available is 123. MDS Oral Medicine has the highest number of seats allotted, which is 31. Whereas MDS. Periodontics has 27 and MDS. Public Health Dentistry has 25 seats allotted.

Candidates applying for PG dental counseling are advised to go through the eligibility criteria set by the KEA. Candidates who have cleared the PG NEET exam are eligible for admission. Candidates must possess a BDS degree from an institute recognized by DCI. Candidates who have completed the BDS degree from an institute outside Karnataka but have studied in the state for 10 years, including class X or XII, can also apply. Four rounds of counseling will be held.
