KEA releases NEET Round 2 Counselling schedule, details

Karnataka- The Karnataka Authority Examinations (KEA) has released the National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Undergraduate (NEET UG) Second Round Seat Allocation Schedule.
As per the schedule, the NEET UG Second Round Seat Allocation has already started from 21st August 2025 and will end on 29th August 2025. However, the date for the results of the second round of final seat allocation will be announced later.
PROVISIONAL SCHEDULE

2 | Dates for payment of Rs 1,00,000/- caution deposit. All eligible candidates should read the separate announcement regarding the payment of the caution deposit. | 21 August 2025, 1.00 00 25 August 2025 till 1.00 PM |
3 | Eligible candidates can change options (Delete | Change / Modify) and register for Ayurveda courses in order of priority. | |
4 | Candidates who wish to cancel the seat allotted in the first round can do so in person at KEA, Bengaluru. Penalty will be applicable as per the rules. | 4.00 PM on 23 August 2025 |
5 | Second round of mock/provisional seat allocation results announced. | After 1.00 on 29 August 2025 |
6 | Announcement of the results of the second round of final seat allocation. | Will be informed later |
Meanwhile, the choice 2 or choice 3 option is not available. However, the candidates who select choice 1, pay the fee and report to the college will be allowed to participate in the third round of seat allocation -subject to conditions.
KEA recently released the NEET UG Second Round Provisional Seat Matrix. On this, Medical Dialogues reported that, as per the seat matrix, a total of 5,049 seats are vacant across Medical, Dental and Ayush courses in Karnataka. Of these, a total of 949 seats are vacant for Ayush Courses, a total of 1510 seats are vacant in Dental Courses, and a total of 2590 seats are vacant in Medical Courses.
