KNRUHS extends free exit, reporting deadlines for PG medical admissions 2025
Warangal: Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS), Telangana, has issued fresh notifications extending key deadlines related to postgraduate medical admissions for the academic year 2025-26. The extensions apply to candidates admitted under both the Management Quota and the Competent Authority Quota during the second phase of counselling.
As per the notification dated January 30, 2026, the university has extended the reporting deadline for candidates admitted into PG Medical Degree and Diploma courses under the Management Quota. The reporting time, which was earlier scheduled to close at 4:00 PM on January 31, 2026, has now been extended up to 4:30 PM on February 2, 2026. This extension follows earlier notifications issued on January 27, 2026, and guidelines received from the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), New Delhi.
The university has directed all principals of medical colleges to ensure that details of reported and not-reported candidates under the Management Quota are uploaded on the admission portal on or before 5:00 PM on February 2, 2026.
In a separate but related notification, KNRUHS has also announced a further extension of the free exit facility for Non-Service candidates admitted into PG Medical Degree and Diploma courses under the Competent Authority Quota. The free exit deadline has been extended up to 4:30 PM on February 2, 2026. This decision is in continuation of earlier notifications dated January 21 and January 22, 2026, and in accordance with the DGHS notice dated January 29, 2026.
Medical college principals have been instructed to upload the details of discontinued Non-Service category candidates on the admission portal by 5:00 PM on February 2, 2026.
The university has advised candidates and institutions to strictly adhere to the revised timelines to avoid any complications in the admission process.
