Maha CET Cell extends Last Date Of Joining, Filling Of Status Retention for NEET candidates
Maharashtra: Through a recent notice, the Government of Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell has informed that the last date for Joining and filling of Status Retention for MBBS/BDS courses CAPÂ Round 1 of State counselling is extended to 9th February 2022 till 5.00 pm.
As per the notice, 7th February 2022 had been declared a holiday by the Government of Maharashtra, so the date has been extended. The date will not be further extended. UG 1st CAP Round Allotment was prepared based on the documents uploaded by the candidates.
Those candidates who have participated in Online Preference (Choices) Filling Process for MBBS/BDS courses only will download the selection list of the 1st CAP Round.

Earlier, authorities have released a revised Round 1 MBBS/BDS counselling selection list. The counselling results and seat allotment have also been released online. The registered and included candidates in the merit list can participate in the counselling process. The admission will be granted based on NEET-UG marks, state merit rank, choices filled, reservation criteria, seat matrix, etc.
Candidates allotted MBBS/BDS seats in NEET counselling will have to report to the allotted college for document verification, fee payment, and reserving admission.
A candidate selected in the 1st Round or subsequent rounds and does not join the college or cancels the admission after joining will be presumed to be not interested. Such candidates will not be considered for allotment of seats during the NEET-UG process through the CAP round.
The NEET-UG counselling is conducted for admission to the state quota seats in government/ corporation, government-aided, and all the quota seats in private/ minority colleges of Maharashtra state. The whole process of NEET-UG counselling will be conducted online.
