Delhi: The counseling process for MBBS admission to medical colleges in Delhi is conducted by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on behalf of the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).
The counseling usually begins after the final results of NEET UG are declared. This year NEET was conducted on 7th May 2023. The final results are yet to be announced. Till now, the answer key has been released, and candidates have been asked to raise objections.
Candidates who have qualified for NEET are required to register for counseling on the MCC website. There are 4 rounds in the entire counseling process. The rounds include Round 1, Round 2, Mop-Up Round, and Stray Vacancy Round. To be eligible for counseling, the candidates should qualify in NEET UG and fulfill other eligibility conditions.
The candidates must fill in their choices based on their college preferences during the counseling process. The seats will be allocated based on the NEET UG scorecard, choices filled, reservation criteria, and seats available.
