MBBS, BDS Admissions 2021: CEE Kerala releases Round 2 allotment schedule, Details
Kerala : The 2nd phase allotment schedule For MBBS/BDS courses has been released. Confirmation of this was made by the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations (CEE) in a written notice.
The detailed schedule of the allotment –
1. Time for online option confirmation and re-arrangement/deletion of options ends – 11th March 2022, 10:00 am.
2. Publication of Second Allotment – 14th March 2022.
3. Candidates who receive allotment should remit the fee/balance fee (if applicable) payable to CEE through online payment or at any of the head post offices in Kerala – 15th March 2022, 4:00 pm till 19th March 2022, 2:00 pm.
4. Time to report before the college authorities to join the allotted college/course for MBBS/BDS – 16th March 2022 till 19th March 2022, 2:00 pm.
5. All college authorities should approve and submit the list of admitted candidates through online admission management system (OAMS) – 19th March 2022, 3:00 pm.
The activities related to the 2nd phase of allotment to MBBS/BDS courses for the State Quota Seats available in Government and Self Financing Colleges began on 8th March 2022. Therefore, candidates who have been admitted to AIQ seats cannot participate in this phase of counselling.
Candidates who want their higher order options in MBBS/BDS courses to be considered in the 2nd phase of allotment. They will have to log into their home page and confirm their options by clicking the Confirm button available therein. After the candidates confirm the options, they can re-arrange their higher-order options/ delete the unwanted options, courses/colleges. The last date for option filling is 11th March 2022, 10:00 am. Candidates need to log in to www.cee.kerala.gov.in.
Online option confirmation is mandatory for those who have got admission and those who haven't got any allotment as per the 1st phase allotment, to be considered in the 2nd phase allotment. However, for those who do not confirm their options after the 1st phase of admission, the 1st phase will be retained. Candidates should file options carefully. The courses or colleges they are sure to join and continue if allotted a seat need to be filled.
Based on the options received, the 2nd phase of allotment to MBBS/BDS will be published on www.cee.kerala.gov.in. Candidates who receive allotment in this phase shall have to take a printout of their allotment memo and remit the fee/balance fee (if applicable). The list of post offices having a facility for fee payment is available on the website. After remitting the fee/balance fee (if applicable), the candidates should join the course/college allotted.
Candidates can check the website for the detailed fee for MBBS/BDS courses in various colleges. The fee structure in the case of self-financing colleges is subject to the orders of the Fee Regulatory Committee or Government or Hon'ble High Court, or Hon'ble Supreme Court.
Candidates should note that the fee for Believers Church Medical College fixed by the Fee Regulatory Committee for this academic year will be provisional and subject to the final order in the written petition. The college authorities should clarify while issuing receipts to the candidates for the fees paid.
The candidates allotted seats in Self-Financing Colleges for MBBS should pay an amount of Rs.3 lakhs, and those candidates who get Allotment to NRI quota seats should remit a fee of Rs.5 lakhs. The fees have to be paid to the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations. Candidates who get allotment to BDS Course (including NRI quota seats) should pay an amount of Rs.1 Lakh to the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations.
Candidates who get allotment to seats in government colleges for MBBS/BDS courses should pay the complete fee to the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations. Candidates allotted under SC/ST/OEC category and those having benefits as per G.O((MS)25/2005/SCSTDD, dated: 20th June 2005 and G.O(MS)10/2014/BCDD, dated 23rd May 2015, and those candidates from Sreechitra Home, Juvenile Home, Nirbhaya Home should remit Rs 1000 as token fees to the Commissioner for Entrance. However, suppose such candidates are allotted under minority/NRI quota seats in self-financing medical or dental colleges. In that case, they will have to remit the token fee prescribed above, and they will not be eligible for any fee concession.
CEE has further notified that NRI candidates note that their allotted time has ended on 2nd March 2022. Thus, candidates who failed to upload the documents within the stipulated time have lost the allotment. Any documents received in the NRI quota through the 1st phase allotment and the provisional NRI category claim also stand canceled.
After the 2nd phase of allotment, any vacancy will be filled up through Mop Up /Spot allotment. Mop Up Counselling transfer will not be permitted from a Government Medical College to another Government Medical College and a Self-Financing Medical College to another Self-Financing Medical College. But transfer will be allowed from Self-Financing Medical College to Government Medical Colleges. Transferring NRI seats to Non-NRI seats shall also be permitted between two Self-Financing colleges or the same college.
