MBBS, BDS Admissions in Tamil Nadu: Check out tentative seat vacancy position for round 2
Tamil Nadu- Tamil Nadu (TN) Health has released the Round 2 NEET counselling tentative seat vacancy positions for MBBS and BDS courses in 92.5% and 7.5% reservation and PWD categories for the academic year 2024-25.
As per the tentative seat vacancy position, a total of 2045 seats are vacant, of these, 1101 are vacant in MBBS courses and 919 seats are vacant in BDS courses in 92.5% reservation, 23 seats are vacant in BDS courses in 7.5% reservation and 2 seats are vacant in MBBS courses in PwD category.

Recently, TN Health has released the Round 2 counselling schedule for admission to MBBS and BDS degree courses in Government and Management quota (including NRI/NRI lapsed) seats in Tamil Nadu Government Medical/Dental Colleges, ESIC Medical College, KK Nagar, Chennai, Self-financed Medical/Dental Colleges, State Private Universities, Christian Medical College, Vellore and wards of IRT candidates. As per the schedule, the Round 2 counselling was started on 11 September 2024 at 10:00 A.M. and will end on 26 September 2024 upto 05:00 P.M.
The Department of Medical Education plays a pivotal role in developing medical and para-medical personnel to cater to the health needs of the State. The department also has a role to play in the establishment and maintenance of well-equipped teaching institutions, which are the premier referral centres with state-of-the-art equipment and technology. Research is another area of activity for the Medical Education Department.
