MCC adds 52 more seats in Round 3 NEET PG counselling- 49 from HIMSR

New Delhi: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced the addition of 52 more postgraduate medical seats to the Round 3 seat matrix of the NEET PG Counselling for the academic year 2025, following inputs from participating institutes and in compliance with directions issued by the Supreme Court of India.
According to an official notice issued by the MCC in this regard, MCC confirmed that the newly approved seats have already been incorporated into the Round 3 seat matrix, enabling candidates to exercise choices for the added seats during the ongoing counselling process.
As per the seat matrix, a total of 3 seats have been added in the seat matrix of Round III. The seats have been added to 2 colleges of Rajasthan and Telangana. The colleges include Government Medical College Kota and Nizams Institute of Medical Sciences. The seats have been added in MD (Pathology, General Medicine and Radiodiagnosis). Below is the detailed seat matrix-

Meanwhile, in compliance with orders from Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in SLP (C) No. 3280 of 2026, titled Asad Mueed & Ors Versus Jamia Hamdard Deemed to be University & Ors. A total of 49 seats of Hamdard Institute of Medical Sciences and Research have been added to the seat matrix. Below is the detailed seat matrix-
