MCC Begins Refund Process for NEET PG Counselling 2024 Stray Vacancy Rounds candidates

New Delhi- The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has issued a notice for the PG candidates regarding the Refund of the Security Deposit of the Stray vacancy Round and the Special Stray Vacancy Round of NEET PG Counselling 2024.
Through the notice, MCC has informed all the candidates who have participated Stray vacancy Round and Special Stray Vacancy Round in the PG Counselling 2024 that the refund process of the security deposit of all the eligible candidates of Stray vacancy Round and Special Stray Vacancy Round PG Counselling 2024 has started and will be completed within 15 day from the office of HLL which is the financial custodian of MCC.
The notice stated that “Hence, the candidate must keep their card/bank account active till the refund process is completed. If the card/bank account is closed before the completion of the refund, the bankers will not be able to complete the refund process. Since bankers will take a long time to identify & return the failed refunds to the Financial Custodian and legal formalities are to be complied with for initiating a refund to a different bank account, a refund to a new bank account will take a very long time. Neither Financial Custodian nor MCC will be responsible for such delay’.
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is an organisation under the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) affiliated to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India and responsible for allotting seats for undergraduate, postgraduate and super-speciality medical and dental courses in government-run/aided colleges and deemed-to-be-university colleges. It allots seats online based on the candidate's score in the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET). Factors considered during allotment are merit, reservation eligibility and the preference list submitted by the candidate.
