MCC extends NEET PG counselling round 2 choice filling
New Delhi: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has extended the last date for filing choices for Round 2 of the NEET PG counselling.
According to the MCC's official website, the Round 2 choice filling and locking process is now ongoing until December 12. Therefore, students who have successfully filed the NEET PG 2025 counselling registration form for Round 2 can now fill and submit their choices until Friday.
The students are advised not to wait for the MCC NEET PG 2025 Round 2 choice filling deadline and to complete the necessary steps as soon as possible. The choice filling and locking link is active online on the official website of MCC. Earlier, the choice-filling window for NEET PG Round 2 counselling was scheduled till today, i.e., December 9, 2025.
STEPS FOR NEET PG 2025 COUNSELLING CHOICE FILLING AND LOCKING
STEP 1- Visit the MCC NEET PG website.
STEP 2- Log in using your NEET PG credentials.
STEP 3- Navigate to the "Choice Filling" section on the dashboard.
STEP 4- Select preferred colleges and courses from the available seat matrix.
STEP 5- Arrange choices in descending order of priority with the highest preference at the top.
STEP 6- Save choices after each change to avoid data loss.
STEP 7- Click "Lock Choices" to finalise your selection.
STEP 8- Download and print the Confirmation Page for future reference.
The MCC has reportedly extended the last date for choice filling and locking due to the changed Round 2 seat matrix. The committee added 2,620 new PG medical seats to the Round 2 counselling process. Now, the MCC will allot 32,080 seats in the Round 2 counselling process, which includes 17,623 clear vacancies, 11,837 virtual vacancies, and 2,620 newly added seats.
