MCC refunds security deposit to 26,842 NEET PG Candidates, releases List
New Delhi: Through a recent notice, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has informed that the security deposit refund has been made to 26,842 candidates who appeared for NEET PG counselling and the remaining is in process. Besides, the MCC has released the list of concerned candidates who have been provided with the refund.
"It is for information to all candidates who participated in PG Counselling 2021 that as per the eligibility conditions of the refund, the Refund of the Security Deposit made to 26842 candidates has been done so far. (Please find the Refund list 2 enclosed). The Remaining refund to Candidates is in progress and will be completed by end of this month and will publish accordingly on the MCC PG counselling website," the MCC stated.
Earlier, the MCC refunded the amount to 22,870 candidates.
Candidates are advised to note the following:
1) Refunds have been sent to the same Bank/Card Account from where the security deposit was remitted.
2) Depends upon the level of automation, banks will take 1 to 10 days to credit the refunds.
3) If the refund is not credited in 10 days, the candidate should take up with the "Customer Grievance Cell" of the candidate's banker since the refund may be lying with them in the "Suspense Account".
4) Candidates who have raised Charge Back Claim should approach their card issuer for a refund.

The MCC recently informed about the commencement of the refund process of the security deposit of all the eligible candidates who appeared for the NEET Counselling 2021.
Since the MCC is going to begin the refund process, the candidates have been advised to keep their respective bank accounts active till the procedure is completed.
As per the notice, the refunds will be initiated from June 10 and will continue for 10 days.
