MCC Releases NEET UG 2025 Counselling Schedule for State and AIQ Seats, Check Details

MCC Releases NEET UG 2025 Counselling Schedule for AIQ and State Quota Seats

New Delhi: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the schedule of the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET-UG) 2025 Examination for the All India Quota and State Quota seats.

As per the schedule, the counselling for the students who qualified the UG medical entrance test shall commence on 21st July for the All India Quota/Deemed/Central Universities seats, whereas the State counselling shall commence on 30th July, 2025. MCC has announced that the academic session for the UG courses shall commence on 1st September, 2025.

MCC will soon activate the registration window at its official website [mcc.nic.in]. Currently, MCC has released the counselling schedule for three rounds of State and AIQ counselling as well as the schedule for a stray vacancy round. Medical Dialogues had earlier reported that this year, the results for the NEET UG 2025 exam were declared on June 14, 2025.

NEET UG 2025 Counselling Schedule for All India Quota/ Deemed/Central Universities/All AIIMS Institutes/JIPMER (Puducherry & Karaikal):

Round I: As per the NEET UG 2025 Counselling schedule for the AIQ seats, verification of the tentative seat matrix by the participating institutes and NMC will be done between July 18 to July 19. The Registration and payment for Round I shall commence on 21st July onwards and continue till 28th July, 2025.

The choice filling and locking by the candidates will be done between 22nd July to 28th July and the processing of seat allotment will be conducted between July 29 and July 30. Results for the Round I of AIQ Counselling shall be published on 31st July and candidates can report/join their seats from 1st August to 6th August, 2025. Institutes will verify the data of the joined candidates in between 7th and 8th August 2025.

Round II: After Round I, the counselling for Round II shall commence. The verification of the tentative seat matrix by the participating institutes and NMC will be done from 9th August to 11th August, 2025. The Registration and payment for Round II shall commence on 12th August onwards and continue till 18th August, 2025.

Candidates can fill and lock their choices for Round II between 13th August and 18th August, 2025 and the processing of seat allotment shall be conducted from 19th August to 20th August, 2025. Results for Round II of AIQ Counselling shall be published on 21st August, 2025 and the candidates can report/join their seats from 22nd August to 29th August, 2025. Thereafter, the Institutes shall verify the data of the joined candidates from 30th August to 1st September, 2025.

Round III: The schedule, released by MCC, revealed that the verification of the tentative seat matrix for Round III counselling shall be conducted by the participating institutes and NMC on 2nd September, 2025. The Registration and payment for Round III shall commence on 3rd September onwards and continue till 8th September, 2025.

The choice filling and locking for Round III shall also be done from 3rd September to 8th September, 2025, and the processing seat allotment shall be conducted from 9th September, 2025, to 10th September, 2025. Results for Round III of AIQ Counselling shall be published on 11th September, 2025, and the candidates can report to their seats from 12th September to 18th September, 2025. Thereafter, the Institutes shall verify the data of the joined candidates from 19th to 21st September, 2025.

Stray Vacancy Round: MCC has also released the schedule of the Stray vacancy round for the AIQ seats. As per the schedule, the verification of the tentative seat matrix for the Stray round shall be conducted by the participating institutes on 20th September, 2025, and the registration and payment for the Stray Round shall commence from 22nd September onwards and continue till 24th September, 2025.

The Choice filling and locking facility shall be available from 22nd September 2025 to 25th September 2025, and the processing of the seat allotment shall be conducted from 25th to 26th September 2025. The results for the Stray Vacancy Round for the AIQ seats shall be published on 27th September, 2025, and the candidates can report from 27th September to 3rd October, 2025. The last date of joining is 3rd October, 2025.

Schedule for NEET UG 2025 State Counselling:

Round I: As per the schedule released by MCC, Round I of the State Counselling shall be conducted from 30th July, 2025 to 6th August, 2025. Thereafter, the verification of the joined candidates' data shall be conducted by the States in between 13th to 14th August, 2025. Last date of joining for the Round I is 12th August, 2025.

Round II: After Round I, Round II of the State Counselling shall be conducted from 19th August, 2025, and continue till 29th August, 2025. Thereafter, the verification of the joined candidates' data shall be conducted by the States between 5th September to 6th September, 2025. Last date of joining for the Round II is 4th September, 2025.

Round III: As per the schedule, Round III of the State Counselling shall be conducted from 9th September to 18th September, 2025 and the verification of the joined candidates' data shall be conducted by the States on 24th September, 2025. The last date of joining for the Round III 23rd September, 2025.

Stray Round: A Stray Vacancy Round shall be conducted from 25th September to 29th September, 2025 and the last date of joining for the Stray Vacancy Round is 3rd October, 2025.
