MCC revises round 1 NEET 2026 counselling schedule, check new dates here
New Delhi: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has revised the schedule of the National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Undergraduate, NEET UG counselling for MBBS, BDS, and Nursing admissions to the All India Quota (AIQ) and State Quota seats for the academic year 2026-27.
As per the NEET UG 2026 Counselling revised schedule for the AIQ seats, the processing of seat allotment for Round 1 will be conducted between 19th Aug, 2026 and today, i.e. 20th Aug., 2026.
Following this, the results for Round I of AIQ Counselling shall be published on 21st August and candidates can report/join their seats from 22nd August to 31st August, 2026. Institutes will verify the data of the joined candidates on 1st September 2026.

Meanwhile, Round I of the State Counselling shall be conducted from 13th to 27th August, 2026. Thereafter, the verification of the joined candidates' data shall be conducted by the States by 6th September 2026. Last date of joining for Round I is 5th September 2026.
