NBe declares final mop up round post diploma DNB allotment results 2026, details

New Delhi: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has declared the allotment result of the Final (Mop-up) Round of online centralised merit-based counselling for Post Diploma DNB seats for the 2026 admission session.
Candidates allotted seats in this round must complete joining formalities at the allotted institute by September 1, 2026.
According to the notice issued by the NBE in this regard, candidates can check the final mop-up allotment result through the NBEMS counselling portal. Those allotted seats are required to download their Seat Allotment Letter and report to the allotted institute within the prescribed counselling timeline.
NBEMS has made it clear that candidates allotted seats in the Final Mop-Up Round must mandatorily join the allotted institute and course by September 1, 2026.
The Board has advised candidates to refer to the Centralised Merit-based Online Counselling Handbook for Admission to Post Diploma DNB Seats- 2026 Admission Session for the list of documents required at the time of joining and other admission-related instructions.
Candidates who fail to join the allotted institute within the stipulated period will lose their admission to the seat. The same consequence will apply if a candidate fails to produce original documents for verification; or is found not to fulfil the prescribed eligibility criteria during document verification.
In such cases, the course fee already deposited by the candidate will also be forfeited.
