NEET 2023 Application Process, Exam details
Delhi: NEET UG registrations have begun across the country and will be carried out till 6th April 2023, up to 9:00 pm.
Every year since 2019, the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET-UG) has been conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to undergraduate medical education, with the approval of the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare and MHRD. The exam is conducted for admission to MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BSMS, BUMS, and BHMS courses.
This year NEET UG exam is scheduled for 7th May 2023 as per the examination calendar. The exam date was declared through the examination calendar for the academic year 2023-24, released on 15th December 2022. Lakhs of students this year, too, will be applying for the exam.
The process to apply –
1. The candidates can apply through the "Online" mode only through the website https://neet.nta.nic.in/. The submission of the online application form may be made by accessing the NTA website https://neet.nta.nic.in/. The application form in any other mode will not be accepted.
2. Only one application is to be submitted by a candidate. Candidates must strictly follow the Information Bulletin and the NTA website instructions. And those who do not comply with the instructions will be summarily disqualified.
3. Candidates must ensure that the e-mail address and mobile number provided in the online application form are their own or parents/guardians only, as NTA will send all information/ communication through e-mail on the registered e-mail address or SMS on the registered mobile number only.
4. All candidates must upload address proof (Present and permanent address) during the online Application Form of NEET (UG) – 2023. The address proof may include AADHAAR Card, Domicile Certificate, Passport, Voter ID card, etc. Both documents (if applicable) are to be merged and uploaded in a single PDF file. If the Present and Permanent addresses are the same, then the same document will suffice.
5. The last date for successful fee transactions through Credit/Debit Card/Net-Banking/UPI is 6th April 2023, up to 11:59 pm—correction in particulars to be intimated later on the website.
The candidates will have to pay the following fee –

The Entrance Test will consist of 200 multiple-choice questions (four options with a single correct answer) from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany and Zoology). 50 questions in each subject will be divided into two Sections (A and B). The Examination will be 200 minutes (03 hours 20 minutes) from 02:00 pm to 05:20 pm (Indian Standard Time) and will be uniform for all candidates.
