NEET 2025: IP University allows Round 1 MBBS, BSc Nursing candidates to withdraw admissions till September 15

New Delhi: The Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) has issued an important notification for NEET UG 2025 qualified candidates allotted seats in the MBBS and BSc Nursing courses in Round 01 Online counselling conducted by the University for the session 2025-26.
The University has announced that the facility for withdrawal of admissions after seat allotment in Round 01 has been re-opened. Candidates who wish to withdraw their admission can do so between 04th September 2025 (from 4:00 p.m.) and 15th September 2025 (up to 11:59 p.m.).
Students are advised to carefully note the deadlines and complete the withdrawal process within the given time frame to avoid complications in subsequent rounds of counselling.
The notice stated: The lines for withdrawal of admission after allotment of seat in Round 01 has been re-opened as per the schedule below:

Medical Dialogues had earlier reported that the university issued a notice informing that in view of the revised NEET UG Schedule 2025 published by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCС), Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India, all the NEET UG 2025 qualified candidates desirous of seeking admission/allotment of seat in the affiliated medical/nursing colleges/ institutes through counselling conducted by GGSIP University for the session 2025-26 are hereby informed that the schedule for Round 02 has been extended.

Meanwhile, the detailed procedure to be followed after the declaration of the results of Round 02 shall be notified by the University on or after 16 September 2025 (Tentative).
