NEET 2025: MCC notifies NRI quota admission procedure, check out details

New Delhi : The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released a notice detailing the admission procedure for candidates applying under the NRI (Non-Resident Indian) quota. Eligible applicants must provide proof issued by the Indian Mission/MEA confirming their NRI status, or that they are a child or ward of an NRI.
Eligibility Criteria and Required Documentation
Applicants are eligible for admission under the NRI quota if they produce documentation issued by Indian Mission/ MEA for being an NRI/ Child of an NRI /Ward of an NRI (minor under bona fide guardianship).
Application Procedure
The above-mentioned documents will be verified at the time of Reporting to the allotted college. Further, colleges will send a copy of documents submitted by the above candidate to MCC, which will be scrutinized by MCC and will be sent to concerned mission/embassy for verification.
Incomplete or false submissions will lead to rejection of seat.
If the documents are found to be ‘FAKE’ at a later stage, the seat of the candidate is liable to get cancelled and action as deemed appropriate by the competent authority will be initiated against the candidate and the college.
Important
MCC reserves the right to seek further clarification/documents as necessary.
Any attempt to misrepresent eligibility will result in disqualification.
