NEET 2025: MCC says AIIMS Manglagiri not equipped for disability certificates- PwD portal open till September 9

New Delhi- For the convenience of PwBD candidates, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has onboarded certain Medical Colleges as Designated Disability Centres to issue Disability Certificates w.r.t the Interim Guidelines issued by NMC on the Assessment method for granting admission in the MBBS course under the PwBD category for AY 2025-26.
On this, MCC has issued a notice informing all the candidates that AIIMS, Mangalagiri, was designated as Disability Centre of MCC. However, as per information received from MS, AIIMS Mangalagiri, it is still not fully equipped to provide the required services as a disability certification centre.
Therefore, through the notice, PwD candidates are advised not to visit AIIMS Mangalagiri for obtaining Disability Certificates. However, candidates can visit other centres as per the information uploaded on the MCC website to avoid inconvenience.

In this regard, Medical Dialogues had reported that candidates can visit the Designated Disability Centres in addition to the earlier 16 Disability centres of MCC for the purpose of getting themselves examined and obtaining Disability Certificates as per NMC Guidelines. The PwD portal for Round 2 of UG Counselling 2025 is active now and is open upto 12:00 Noon of 9th Sept., 2025. PwBD candidates can visit the centres with their valid UDID card to obtain a certificate as per their eligibility.
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has revised the National Eligibility and Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) round 2, 3 and online stray vacancy rounds counselling schedule for the academic year 2025. The revised schedule has been released in PDF format on the official MCC website.
As per the revised schedule, the NEET UG round 2 counselling registration for the students who qualified the UG medical entrance test will commence from 4th September 2025, for the All India Quota/Deemed/Central Universities seats and the State counselling. The choice filling will begin on September 5 and will end on September 9, 2025. The choice locking facility will begin from 4 pm of September 9 to 11.55 pm of September 9, 2025.
Meanwhile, the academic session for the UG courses will commence on 22nd September 2025.
