NEET Counselling for MBBS, BDS admissions in Bihar: BCECEB notifies on mop up round

Patna: Through a recent notice, the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has informed about the mop-up round of NEET Counselling 2020 for candidates who are vying for MBBS and BDS admissions in the state.

This is to Inform the eligible candidates and all concerned that on the vacant seats after online 2nd Round Counselling of UGMAC-2020 for admission to MBBS / BDS / B.V.Sc.&A.H. courses in Government / Private Medical / Dental Colleges and B.V.Sc. Colleges of Bihar, offline MOP-UP counselling will start from 05.01.2021 at I.A.S. Bhawan, Near Patna Airport, Patna-800014.

Mop-up round counselling will be offline.

1. UGMAC ID of all candidates, who have duly submitted the online application form for UGMAC-2020 Mop-up Counselling in the light of Adv. No. BCECEB(UGMAC)-2020/10 & 2020/11 dt. 22.12.2020, 2020/13 dt. 24.12.2020, 2020/15 dt. 26.12.2020 and 2020/16 dt. 30.12.2020 and found eligible as per the NEET Cutoff Marks and are not admitted in any Medical / Dental Colleges of India either through UGMAC-2020 1st and 2nd Round of Counselling or All India Quota Counselling are included Merit-row wise in the MOP-UP counselling programme mentioned below.

2. For admission in Govt./ Pvt. Medical / Dental/ B.V.Sc. colleges of Bihar state, only such NEET(UG)-2020 candidates are eligible who fulfill the eligibility criteria as per the prospectus and are not admitted in any Govt. / Pvt. Medical / Dental Colleges of India. Candidates must have to bring their all original documents alongwith Rank Card for MOP-UP counselling at the time of counselling as mentioned in the prospectus of UGMAC-2020, otherwise they will not be considered eligible for attending MOP-UP counselling.

3. (a). All candidates who want to participate and to take the admission on the vacant seats available after admission on the basis of 2nd round online counselling at their merit in Govt. Medical / Dental / B.V.Sc. have to take admission on the same day during MOP-UP counselling process by submitting the required original documents and requisite fee amount.

(b). All candidates who want to appear in counselling for admission in Pvt. Medical / Dental Colleges are directed to submit a Demand Draft of Rs.12,00,000/- (Twelve lac) for Private Medical Colleges and Rs.50,000/- (Fifty thousand) for Pvt. Dental Colleges in favour of Controller of Examination, BCECE Board payable at Patna failing which they would not be given chance for Counselling / Document Verification and admission. If the candidate is admitted he/she has to deposit cheque of rest amount of fee of that institution latest by 08.01.2021.

(c). Fee structure for Govt. Medical / Dental / B.V.Sc. colleges and Pvt. Medical / Dental Colleges are uploaded on the Board's website.

4. All the registered candidates who are eligible as per criteria, have been called for MOP-UP Counselling as per counselling programme given below. The seat matrix is uploaded on the Board's website. During the counselling process, the vacancies will be updated every hour and as soon as the seats will be filled up completely, the counselling will be closed. In that case, the remaining candidates have to return back.

5. During any stage of Counselling / Document verification if any candidate included in above merit list is found admitted in any Medical / Dental College of India he will not be eligible for seat allotment in this MOP-up counselling.
6. The reserved category candidates included in the above merit list shall be allowed to exercise their option of Institution / Course against seats available in Unreserved (UR) category as well as in their respective reserved categories also as per merit.
7. All the certificates included in the list given below, if applicable, must be submitted in original by every candidate at the time of his/ her Counselling / Allotment on the scheduled date :
i. Original Admit Card of NEET(UG)-2020.
ii. Downloaded print of Online filled Application Form (Part-A & Part-B) UGMAC-2020 (Mop-up Counselling).
iii. The Verification Slip as downloded alongwith Allotment order in 2 copies and Biometric Identification report form one copy.
iv. Rank Card of UGMAC-2020.
v. Passing Certificate / Marks Sheet / Admit Card of Matric / equivalent Examination.
vi. Passing Certificate / Marks Sheet / Admit Card of Intermediate Sc/equivalent Examination.
vii. Certificate for Residence of Bihar duly issued by Concerned C.O. countersigned by DM/ SDO (Civil) of permanent residence.
viii. Caste Certificate duly issued by Concerned C.O. countersigned by DM / SDO (Civil).
ix. All the Certificates in original as per the requirements of the Prospectus of UGMAC-2020 (if applicable).
x. Six copies of the passport size Photograph which was pasted on the Admit Card NEET(UG)-2020.
xii. Muslim Minority / Sikh candidates must come with the relevant documents which is necessary for proving their candidature.
xiii. NRI candidates have to submit required certificates positively during the counselling. Candidates are advised to contact the concerned colleges regarding details of the certificates required.
8. The candidates are required to bring all the original certificates/documents as mentioned in para 3 above positively at the time of counselling otherwise they will not be eligible for counselling / admission.
9. Inclusion of any UGMAC-ID in the above Counselling programme does not guarantee admission. Since candidates in excess of the available seats are being called for Counselling / Allotment in order to ensure filling up vacancies which may arise due to absentees, those having merit positions lower than the total number of sanctioned seats will be admitted subject to availability of seats.
10. (a) If the counselling does not complete on scheduled date, the concerned candidates have to stay on the next day in order to complete it.
(b) If the available seats are filled before the scheduled date and time, the counselling will be postponed / discontinued.
11. If a candidate called for MOP-UP Counselling / Allotment is found ineligible as per the requirements of the prospectus of UGMAC-2020 and / or the latest order/ orders passed by the Hon'ble High Court/ Supreme Court Appex Bodies or Department of Health in matters related to UGMAC-2020, his / her candidature is liable to be rejected.
12. Each eligible candidate will be allowed to exercise his/ her option for Course/ Institution from amongst those institutions & seats available at his/ her merit serial after his/ her original Certificates/ Documents and identity are verified.
13. A candidate who absents or fails to appear on the scheduled date & time of his/ her Counselling/Allotment may appear for Counselling any time during the period of Counselling but in that case he/ she will have the option of Course/ Institution available at the time of his/ her actual reporting.
14. Each candidate should note that once the Course/ Institution is opted at the time of his/ her Counselling in his/ her concerned category for which his/ her choice is allowed and the same is allotted to him/ her, no subsequent request for change of course and/ or Institution in the same category shall be entertained. The updated vacancy position of seat for MOP-UP Counselling can be seen on Board's Website. The available vacancies may change at the time of starting Counselling on 05.01.2021 and will be updated as mentioned above.
15. Admission will be taken by concerned colleges in BCECE Board office permisses itself. Hence candidates must come prepared fully in all respect.
16. In case of dispute, decision of the Controller of Examination, BCECEB shall be final.
17. The Govt. of Bihar and the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board reserve the right to amend the rules relating to UGMAC-2020.
28. Other terms and condition as given earlier vide Advertisement No. BCECEB (UGMAC)-2020/10 dt. 22.12.2020 will remain the same.
19. Any typographical error inspite of all precautions taken and detected any time shall be corrected whenever detected and merely publication of UGMAC-ID will not confer any right for admission.
