NEET: KNRUHS Begins Registrations for MBBS, BDS Admissions Under Competent Authority Quota, check complete details

Telangana- The Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) is inviting online applications from the candidates those who have qualified by securing the cutoff scores or above in the National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Undergraduate (NEET UG) exam for admission into the MBBS and BDS Courses for 2025-26 under Competent Authority Quota in to Government, Private Medical & Dental Colleges affiliated to KNRUHS, Warangal in the State of Telangana.

In this regard, KNRUHS has issued a notification regarding the online registration for web-based counselling to determine State Merit position for admission into Competent Authority Quota seats only, i.e., the seats in Government Medical / Dental Colleges after deducting 15% of seats contributed to All India Quota (AIQ) and Category ‘A’ seats in Private Un-aided Non-Minority and Minority Medical colleges, Private Un-aided Non-Minority Dental Colleges, including Army College of Dental Sciences, Secunderabad.

As per the notification, candidates can register online and upload scanned original certificates from today, i.e. 16 July 2025, 08.00 AM, upto 25 July 2025, 06.00 PM. Below is the Cut-off score in NEET UG 2025 for MBBS and BDS courses-

ELIGIBILITY

The candidates, who have qualified in NEET UG 2025 by securing marks of the cutoff score or above, have to apply to determine the State Merit position for Competent Authority Quota seats, subject to the conditions specified in the admission Regulations/Prospectus for the AY 2025-26.

1 A candidate for admission into undergraduate courses under Competent Authority Quota in Telangana should be an Indian National (or) Person of Indian Origin (PIO), Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) cardholder and shall fulfil the following provisions.

i If the candidate has studied in an Educational institution in such a local area for a period of not less than 4 consecutive academic years ending with the academic year in which he appeared, or as the case may be, first appeared in the relevant qualifying examination.

OR

ii Where during the whole or any part of the four consecutive academic years ending with the academic year in which he appeared or as the case may be first appeared for the relevant qualifying examination, he has not studied in Educational Institutions, if he had resided in that local area for not less than four years immediately preceding the date of commencement of the relevant qualifying examination, in which he appeared or as the case may be first appeared.

iii Local area herein means the State of Telangana. Further, in case the candidate has not studied in any educational institution and has resided in the local area as stated at (ii) above, to be eligible for admission into undergraduate courses under Competent Authority Quota, the candidate should have appeared for the relevant qualifying examination in the State of Telangana.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

By NMC Regulations, the candidate should have passed Intermediate (10+2 pattern) or its equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany, Zoology) / Biotechnology and English.

1 OC candidates should obtain not less than 50% marks in science subjects.

2 BC/SC/ST candidates should obtain not less than 40% marks in science subjects.

3 OC PWD candidates should obtain not less than 45% marks in science subjects.

4 Candidates claiming reservation under the EWS category also should obtain 50%marks in science subjects.

AGE

The candidate should have completed 17 years of age as on 31-12-2025. The candidates who do not complete 17 years as on 31-12-2025 need not apply for the counselling. The above age criteria are applicable to all candidates of all categories.

REGISTRATION AND PROCESSING FEE

The Registration and Processing fee is Rs 4000/- (Bank transaction charges extra) for OC & BC candidates and SC/ST candidates is Rs 3200/- (Bank transaction charges extra). The fee shall be paid online through a Debit card / Credit card or Net Banking. However, the registration & Processing fee once paid will not be refunded or adjusted to a further date.

PROCEDURE FOR FILLING ONLINE APPLICATION AND ONLINE PAYMENT

1 The registration & Processing fee can be paid through Debit card / Credit card or Net Banking.

2 The registration & Processing fee paid by the applicants is not refundable under any circumstances.

DOCUEMENTS

The following documents are required (PDF format)-

1 NEET UG-2025 Rank Card.

2 Birth Certificate (SSC Marks Memo).

3 Qualifying Exam Certificate (Intermediate Marks Memo OREquivalent – Grade Certificate not Accepted).

4 Study Certificates from IXth to SSC. (If More than one certificate can all be put into a single PDF file)

5 Study Certificates - Intermediate or equivalent for 2 Years (If more than one certificate, scan all into a single PDF file)

6 Transfer Certificate.

7 Latest Caste Certificate.

8 Minority Certificate (Muslim Only).

9 EWS Certificate for the year 2025-26 claiming reservation under EWS Categories issued by Competent Authority (Tahsildar), State of Telangana.

10 Latest Parental Income Certificate (If applicable).

11 NCC Certificate (If More than one certificate, scan all into a single PDF file).

12 CAP Certificate (If More than one certificate, scan all into a single PDF file).

13 PMC Certificate.

14 Anglo Indian Certificate.

15 Candidates who have not studied in any Educational Institutions have to submit a residence certificate of the candidate for 4 4-year period immediately preceding the qualifying examination (dates of period to be specified).

16 Aadhar Card.

17 Candidate’s Latest passport size Photo.

18 Specimen Signature of the Candidate.

Meanwhile, candidates have to exercise web options for seats in the colleges in which they are interested to join for the MBBS course and the BDS course separately. Candidates and parents are informed to exercise web options very carefully in order of their preference for colleges and also to take a printout of the exercised web options, which are uploaded for reference.

After allotment, the candidate should download the allotment order, submit the print-out of the filled-in Online application form, allotment order, Bonds and original certificates along with (1) set of self-attested copies to the Principal of the allotted college at the time of joining for final verification by the admissions committee of the allotted college. The Admission Committee is responsible for the scrutiny of the original certificates submitted by the candidate. In case of any discrepancy, the provisional allotment order for admission will be cancelled.
