NEET PG 2024: BFUHS Re-invites Applications After Qualifying Percentile reduction
Punjab- The Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) is re-inviting online applications from NEET PG 2024 qualified candidates as per the revised cutoff percentile.
As per the reduced minimum qualifying percentage for admission under NEET PG-2024, for the General Category/EWS is 15 per cent and above and 10 per cent and above for the SC/ST/OBC/PWD category.
In this regard, as per the official notice, candidates willing to participate in the 3rd round of Punjab State PG Medical Counselling must submit their applications online by January 10, 2025. Along with this, candidates also have to pay Rs 5000 + 18% GST (Rs 5900) and Rs 2500 + 18% GST (Rs 2950 for SC candidates) and a security deposit of Rs25000/- (Rs. 10000/- for SC/BC) for government colleges and Rs 2,00,000 for both government and private colleges. However, candidates who have already applied earlier, need not apply again. They just need to submit willingness along with a security deposit to participate in 3rd round of online counselling.
Meanwhile, the last date for submitting the admission application form for the NRI quota personally in the University is also scheduled till January 10, 2025, upto 5.00 PM. The application form for getting the Eligibility certificate and admission application form for NRI quota seats is separately available on the BFUHS official.
IMPORTANT POINTS
1 the PCMS in-service candidates, who want to avail incentive marks, will submit the NOC duly issued by the Secretary to Govt. Of Punjab, Deptt. Of Health and Family Welfare/competent authority, personally in the University upto 10.01.2025. In case, NOC is not received in University upto 10.01.2025, the candidate will not be considered for incentive marks. As the data for preparing the merit list will be sent to NBE, New Delhi, therefore, no NOC will be accepted after this date. The PCMS candidates who have already registered and are now eligible to participate in the counselling due to reduced percentile are also required to submit their NOC personally by 10.01.2025.
2 As per Punjab Govt. Notification, the requisite rural service for incentive marks will be counted upto 31.03.2024.
