NEET PG 2024 on June 23rd: NBE Issues caution advisory for candidates, details
New Delhi- The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has issued certain Caution advisory for National Eligibility-Entrance Test for Postgraduate admissions - NEET PG 2024 applicants.
All applicants for NEET-PG 2024 are cautioned that-
1 NBEMS does not send any email or SMS to candidates regarding securing good marks/merit positions in any of the exams conducted by NBEMS. Candidates are advised not to be allured or mislead by unscrupulous agents /touts making such false and bogus claims.
2 NBEMS does not make any phone calls to any candidate or issue any communication regarding any unfair assistance during the exam in any of the exams conducted by NBEMS or for any other such thing which is against the provisions of law.
Candidates who fail to produce any of the following documents will not be allowed entry inside the test centre-
1 Print out of admit card issued by NBEMS.
2 Government-issued photo identification proof in original & in hard copy.
3 Photocopy of Permanent/ Provisional SMC/MCI/NMC registration of MBBS qualification.
The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) shall be conducting the National Eligibility-Entrance Test-Postgraduate (NEET-PG) 2024 exam on 23rd June 2024 from 9 AM to 12:30 PM on a computer-based platform across the country at more than 1000 test centres in approximately 300 test cities.
The NEET-PG 2024 exam admit cards will be issued “batch-wise” from today onwards. Applicants for NEET-PG 2024 are advised to check their applicant login accounts on the NEET-PG 2024 index page at NBEMS official website periodically for admit card.
Candidates are advised to familiarise themselves with the location of the test centre and plan travel time accordingly. Candidates have to reach the test centres on or before the reporting time. Candidates may note that late entry to the examination premises is not permitted under any circumstances. NBEMS will not be responsible for any delayed arrival of the candidate reaching the centre due to any reason.
Candidates will not be allowed to take prohibited items inside the examination centre under any circumstances. Therefore, candidates are instructed to go through the information bulletin & admit card for NEET-PG 2024 for the list of such prohibited items.
It is essential for the candidate to carry supportive medical documents. In the absence of such documents, the candidate shall not be permitted to carry such devices/ prosthesis/ medicine etc. Along with this, the PWD candidate will also have to get prior approval from NBEMS by submitting a query on the NBEMS communication web portal along with the documents as per the provisions of the RPwD Act, 2016. In the absence of prior approval of NBEMS, the candidate shall not be allowed to accompany a scribe with him/her inside the exam centre.
Any candidate found guilty of having adopted any unfair means/misconduct during NEET-PG 2024 is liable for criminal and/or academic penalty as per applicable provisions & guidelines. Candidates must refer to the Information Bulletin for NEET-PG 2024 for what is defined as the use of Unfair Means.
