NEET PG 2025 revised schedule declared, check key dates

New Delhi- Through a recent notice, the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has announced the schedule for the National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Postgraduate (NEET PG) exam for 2025.
According to the notice issued by the NBE in this regard, the NEET PG 2025 exam will be conducted in Single Shift on 03 August 2025 as per the approval of Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, and the application window is opening again from June 13 to June 17 for choosing the exam city.

Meanwhile, to accommodate all the candidates in Single Shift, NEET-PG will now be conducted in more cities. Therefore, all the candidates will have to re-submit their choice of Exam City. During submission of the online application form, candidate will be able to see only those cities where testing seats are available. The allotment of venue in the chosen Exam City will be done by NBEMS.
In addition, the selection of Exam City by the candidates will be on First Come First Serve Basis. The list of cities will be indicated in the Application Form. The exact venue will be informed to the candidates through admit cards. The Candidates shall make their own arrangement for travel/boarding etc.
The notice further informed that, in case testing seat is not available in the State/UT in which the candidate prefers to appear in NEETPG, he/she can choose the option others from the list of States/UTs at the time of selection of the State/UT during online submission of application form. Candidate opting for others must note that NBEMS will make all efforts to allot a testing centre in the State of correspondence address of the candidate.
However, in case of unavailability of testing seat in the concerned State due to logistic, administrative or other reasons, testing centre anywhere in India may be allocated. NBEMS reserves its right to add or remove Exam city from the list due to logistic, administrative or other reasons.
In this regard, Medical Dialogues has recently reported that the NEET PG 2025 will be held on August 3, 2025. The Supreme Court has given its approval, considering the application filed by the NBE seeking to postpone the exam to the proposed date.
