NEET PG counselling 2025: MCC extends reporting, resignation deadline for round 2

New Delhi: The second round of National Eligibility Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET PG) counselling for the academic year 2025 is currently underway and the counselling body, Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), has extended the last date for reporting and resignation for Round 2 to December 29th.
Students are required to carry their original documents along with the allotment letter for reporting.
According to the MCC's official website, the reporting and resignation deadline for Round 2 of PG counselling 2025 has been extended to December 29, 2025, at 4:00 PM. Reporting is the final step in the admission process through the NEET PG exam. Meanwhile, after seat allotment, students must download the allotment order from the official website and begin gathering the necessary documents for NEET PG 2025 counselling reporting.
DOCUMENTS
Below is the list of documents required for the reporting process-
1 NEET PG admit card 2025.
2 NEET PG 2025 result/rank letter.
3 Class X marksheet/ birth certificate.
4 Marksheets of MBBS.
5 MBBS Degree Certificate.
6 Internship Completion Certificate.
7 Permanent/provisional registration certificate issued by MCI/ SMC.
8 Valid, non-expired and authentic photo ID proof.
9 Caste Certificate.
10 Non-creamy layer Certificate (if applicable).
11 Disability Certificate (if applicable).
MCC under the Directorate General of Health Services DGHS had ealrier announced an extension of the resignation window for candidates admitted to Round 1 and Round 2 of the NEET PG Counselling for the academic year 2025.
According to the official notice issued by the MCC in this regard, MCC received many requests from PG candidates who want to resign their Round1 or Round-2 seats since the state counselling results are being declared. In this regard, the competent authority decided to extend the time of Resignation for such candidates. Therefore, candidates who desired to leave their Round-1 or Round-2 seat could do so from 2:00 PM on 22 December 2025 to 6:00 PM on 26 December 2025.
