NEET PG counselling 2026: MCC to open PwD portal on October 1, notifies dates for medical assessment

According to the notice issued by MCC in this regard, all candidates applying for postgraduate medical counselling under the PwD category will have to complete their medical assessment within the prescribed timeline.

As per the notice, the Primary Medical Assessment Board will open from tomorrow, i.e. October 1, until 5:00 PM on October 9, 2026.

PwD candidates participating in Round 1 have been advised to visit the designated Primary Medical Assessment Centre within this period and complete their assessment before the deadline.

The assessment is an important part of the counselling process for candidates seeking admission under the PwD category, and MCC has specifically asked candidates not to miss the stipulated schedule.

MCC has also announced the timeline for candidates requiring assessment by the Appellate Medical Assessment Board.

The Appellate Board will conduct medical assessments from 10:00 AM on October 5, 2026, until 5:00 PM on October 12, 2026.
