NEET PG counselling: BFUHS issues corrigendum on Round 1 provisional results, revises joining date

Punjab: The Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) Faridkot, has released a corrigendum to the provisional result of Round 1 NEET PG counselling for the academic year 2025, citing a technical oversight/syntax error in the allotment list published on November 27, 2025.
5 candidates’ provisional results have now been corrected and updated.
In addition to the corrected allotments, BFUHS has also revised the joining dates, aligning them with the updated schedule issued by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). Candidates.
According to the notice issued by the BFUHS in this regard, due to a technical oversight/syntax error in the 1st round PG Medical counselling provisional result published on 27 November 2025, the provisional result of certain candidates is hereby revised after necessary corrections.
The dates of joining are also hereby revised in consonance with the revised schedule released by the MCC and candidates will join the respective colleges/institutions from 02 December 2025 to 07 December 2025”. The list includes important details such as Allotted College, Allotted Course, Allotted Branch and Allotted Category.

BFUHS has also urged all candidates to keep checking the official website for further updates, especially regarding subsequent rounds of counselling and important admission instructions.
BFUHS has also notified in their other notice, the university reviewed all objections raised against the earlier provisional allotment and made corrections wherever justified. The revised allotment reflects changes in seat allocation for various MD, MS, PG Diploma, and DNB courses across Punjab’s government and private medical colleges.

Meanwhile, Medical Dialogues had reported that BFUHS had announced the revised schedule for the 1st round of online counselling for admission to PG Medical Courses in Punjab under NEET PG 2025. The update comes in line with the latest counselling timetable released by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) on November 15, 2025, for All India Quota (AIQ) and state counselling rounds.
According to the notice, the choice filling and submission of preferences for colleges and specialities through the online portal will remain open till November 18, 2025 (up to 5:00 PM). The seat allotment process will be carried out from November 19 to 21, 2025, followed by the publication of provisional results on November 24, 2025.
