NEET PG Lowered percentile: TN Health invites Applications for DNB admissions by Service Candidates, Details
Tamil Nadu: The Director of Medical Education (DME) has invited fresh applications for DNB broad speciality post MBBS, post-diploma and post MBBS two years diploma courses for only service candidates in government medical institutions as the NEET PG 2021 counselling cutoff has been reduced, and the candidates who have now become eligible can apply.
As per the notification, candidates can apply and upload the necessary documents online till 19th March 2022, until 5:00 pm.
The service candidates are instructed to upload the Service Proforma obtained from the respective head of institutions, their seal, and all other necessary documents within the schedule. In addition, candidates should read the prospectus for admission to DNB Broad Speciality Post MBBS, Post Diploma and Post MBBS two years diploma courses for only service candidates for the 2021-2022 session for details related to the counselling process.
Candidates seeking admission in DNB Broad Specialty Post MBBS Courses (Primary) will have to qualify for NEET PG 2021. For admission to Post Diploma (Secondary) seats to be filled by the state, the candidates should have qualified DNB PD-CET 2021.
The candidates need to fill the choice carefully because once the choices are locked cannot be changed. Vacancy positions for the courses will be available on the official websites. Admission will be made by the online counselling based on rank and by applying the rule of reservation/roster method followed by the Government of Tamil Nadu wherever applicable. The provisional allotment order can be downloaded only after payment of tuition fees. The non-refundable tuition fee has to be paid online.
Candidates selected for admission should give a self-declaration form at the time of the reporting to the concerned medical college that they are liable for forfeiture of selection/admission if suppression of facts misinterpretation is found during or after the admission to the course.
