NEET special Stray Vacancy Round: GGISIPU Releases schedule, process, Tentative Seat Matrix, Details

New Delhi: Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) has released the schedule, counselling process and Tentative Vacant Seat Status for Special Stray Round of MBBS admissions.

All the concerned candidates are advised to take note of the following details

Schedule And Procedure To Be Followed After Declaration Of Special Round Result For Academic Session 2024-25

All NEET ug 2024 qualified candidates are informed that the university is in the process of conducting the special round through centralized online counselling and subsequent activities to be followed for MBBS programme for the academic session 2024-25.

Admissions will be made on "NEET ug 2024 all india rank" purely on merit as per the qualifying percentile.

All NEET ug 2024 qualified candidates who wish to participate in special round centralized online counselling must refer to the schedule as follows:

Note: All Choices/Preferences Filled In Round 01, 02, 03 And Stray Vacancy Round Shall Be Treated As Invalid. All The Eligible Participant Needs To Fill Fresh Choices In Special Round Counselling.

Criteria For Participation In Special Round Online Counselling By The University:

a) Exercising Of "Fresh Choice Filling" And Locking Of Choices.

b) Process Of Seat Allotment

c) Publication Of Result On University Website.

d) Physical Reporting With Original Documents At The Allotted Medical/Dental College Against Allotted Seat.

e) If A Candidate Is Allotted A Seat In Special Round, He/She Has To Mandatorily Join The Allotted Seat/College. If The Candidate Does Not Join The Allotted Seat, He/She Shall Be Debarred From Neet Examination For 01 Next Session Year Along With Forfeiture Of Fees.

Who Are Not Eligible For Special Round Of Allotment?

Following Categories Of Candidates Are Not Eligible For Special Round:-

a) Candidate Joined/Holding Any Seat At The Time Of Special Round.

b) Candidate's Name Find Mentioned In The List Uploaded By Mcc, Dghs, Govt. Of India.

c) Candidates Allotted A Seat In Stray Vacancy Round And Not Reported.

d) Candidate Who Become Non-Eligible Due To Having Inadequate Documents As Per Eligibility Criteria

e) Who Have Not Registered In Round 1 Or Round 2 Or Round 3.

General Instructions:

(a) The Candidates Must Read The Conditions Of Eligibility For Admission As Given In The Admission Brochure For 2024-25 Carefully And Must Satisfy Themselves Regarding Their Eligibility For Admission In Various Programmes Before Registering Online For Admission And Submitting The Counselling Participation Fees.

(b) It Is The Sole Responsibility Of The Candidate To Ensure That They Fulfill The Minimum Eligibility Criteria In The Programmes They Seek Admission; The Correctness Of The Details Filled With Respect To Region; Category Or Any Other Such Details For Allotment Of Seat. If At Any Stage Of Admission Procedure The Information Furnished By The Candidate Is Found To Be Incorrect Or False The Admission To The Programme Shall Be Cancelled And All The Fees Paid Will Be Forfeited.

(c) In Order To Avoid Last Minute Rush, The Candidates Are Advised To Apply Early Enough. The University Will Not Be Responsible For Network Problems Or Any Other Problem Of Such Nature For Either Submission Of Online Application Or Any Other Activity During The Last Minute.

(d) Candidates Claiming Seat In Delhi Region Must Have Passed The Qualifying (11`H And 12th) Examination From Any School/College Located In Delhi Only. Allotment Of Seats In Wrong Region On Account Of Incorrect Filling Of Form Will Lead To Cancellation Of The Allotment At Any Later Stage And Candidate Will Automatically Lose The Right To The Seat In His/Her Bonafied Region If Not Available At The Time Of Cancellation Of Seat.

(e) Any Other Terms And Conditions As Defined By The Statutory Body/Competent Authority, Shall Be Applicable For Counselling Process/Admission To Mbbs Programme For Academic Session 2024-25. In The Event Of Any Provision Mentioned In The Admission Brochure Being Found To Be At Variance With Any Binding Regulation/Directions Of Any Statutory Body, Then The Higher Norms Will Prevail.

Candidates Are Requested To Refer The Admission Brochure 2024-25 For Detailed Information

Mandatory Reporting/Joining Of Candidates To The Allotted Institute/ College:

i) The Candidates Allotted Seat, Have To Report To Their Respective Allocated Nursing Colleges institutions For Verification Of Documents Pertaining To Qualifying Exam Eligibility, Reserved Category Certificate, Neet UG 2024 Score Card, etc And Payment Of Balance Part Academic Fee As Per The Offer Letter Of Result Of Special Of Online Counselling.

ii) After Allotment Of Seat In The Special Round Counselling, The Candidate, If He/She Has Made The Payment Of Part Academic Fee Of Rs. 96,000/-, Can Generate Provisional Admission Slip.

iii) Proof Of Payment Of Part Academic Fee Receipt Of Rs. 96,000/- Is Available In The Candidate's Profile Within The Stipulated Period.

iv) The Candidates Are Required To Report And Join The Respective Medical Colleges/Institutions With The Provisional Allotment Letter And The Necessary Record For Verification Of Documents At The College And Pay The Balance Amount Of Fees (If Any), As Per The Schedule Mentioned Above, Failing Which The Admission Shall Be Automatically Cancelled.

v) The Institutions Need To Submit/Share Data Of The Joined Candidate (As Per Mc Online Portal) To The University As Well As To The MCC, CGHS. The Vacant/Unallotted Seats After The Stray Vacancy Round Of Online Counselling And Seats Vacant Due To Non-Reporting Of Candidates And Subsequent Withdrawal Of Admissions Shall Be Considered For Special Round Counselling.

vi) All Admissions Shall Be Provisional Till Regularized By The University. Pro-Visional Admission Will Not Be Done For Any Result Awaited Or Compartment / Supplemantary Cases.

vii) Institutes Are Required To Submit A Certificate Within Two Days To The Admission Branch After The Reporting Schedule Of A Particular Round Of Counselling Stating That All Documents (I.E. Qualifying Exam Eligibility, Reserved Category Certificate, NEET UG 2024 Score Card) Of Allotted Candidates In Their USS/Institute Have Been Verified And They Are Found Eligible (Including Remaining Part Academic Fees) And Thereafter All The Candidates After A Particular Round Of Counselling Have Been Shown Reported On The NIV Portal By The Concerned USS/Institute And That There Is Not Even A Single Student Being Allowed To Attend Classes Who Has Not Been Allotted Any Seat After A Particular Round Of Counselling.

Candidates Who Report To The Allotted Institutions And Are Reflected In The List Submitted By The Institutions As Reported/Admitted, Shall Be Called "Admitted Students".

Candidates In Their Own Interest Are Advised To Be In Touch With The University Website. As Well As The Online Admission Website Https://Ipu.Admissions.Nic.In For Schedule/ Latest Updates/ Results/ Notices/ News & Events Pertaining To Counselling As The University Will Not Be Individually Contacting The Candidates For The Same. No Communication Will Be Sent Directly To The Candidates(S). They Are Advised To Be In Touch With The Website On Regular Basis For Any Updates.
