NTRUHS invites applications for MBBS, BDS admissions 2026, check key dates, cutoff, list of required documents

Andhra Pradesh: Dr NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS), Andhra Pradesh, has invited a single online application form from the NEET UG 2026 qualified candidates for admission to MBBS and BDS courses under the Competent Authority Quota for the academic year 2026-27.

Candidates must also upload scanned copies of all relevant original certificates while completing the application.

The notification covers seats in Government Medical and Dental Colleges, Category-A seats in private unaided non-minority and minority institutions, general category seats in government medical colleges permitted from 2023–24 onwards, and MBBS seats at Sri Padmavathi Medical College for Women under SVIMS, Tirupati.

SCHEDULE

Candidates may apply through the NTRUHS website or the designated UG admissions portal.

1 Registration without late fee: From 5:00 PM on August 5 to 9:00 PM on August 12, 2026.

2 Registration with late fee: From 7:00 AM on August 13 to 1:00 PM on August 14, 2026

The normal application and processing fee is-

During the late-fee window, candidates must pay an additional ₹20,000, taking the total to ₹23,000 for OC/BC candidates and ₹22,400 for SC/ST candidates. Bank charges will be extra. The university has clarified that fees once paid will not be refunded or adjusted.

Applicants must have secured the prescribed category-wise qualifying score:

Only candidates meeting the applicable NEET UG 2026 cut-off and other eligibility conditions can participate in the state admission process.

PROCEDURE OF FILING ONLINE APPLICATION AND FOR PAYMENT OF FEE THROUGH ONLINE FOR APPLICATION AND PROCESSING FEE FOR MBBS AND BDS COURSES

1 The fee can be paid through Debit card / Credit card / Net Banking.

2 The fee paid by the applicants is not transferable/refundable under any circumstances.

3 Read the Detailed Notification, Prospectus / Regulations carefully regarding eligibility under local and non-local, etc. before applying.

4 Visit the website through Internet Explorer 11 version only to fill the application form.

5 The User ID, which will be sent to the registered mobile after entering the basic details, should be noted for further use. The User ID should be kept confidential and should not be disclosed to others. Candidates are further advised to fill the online application form on their own on the University website notified and not through any agent or third party. The candidate is only responsible for the information submitted through his /her user ID.

6 Certificates are required to complete the online application process. The original certificates are to be scanned and kept ready to upload. Application fee has to be paid online.

LIST OF DOCUMENTS

1 NEET UG - 2026 Score Card.

2 Birth Certificate (SSC/10th Class Marks Memo).

3 Qualifying Exam Certificate (Intermediate/10+2 Marks Memo OR Equivalent – Grade Certificate not Accepted)

4 Study Certificates from 6th to 10th (If a single certificate, upload the same for all years as a PDF file).

5 Study Certificates - Intermediate or equivalent for 2 Years (If a single certificate, upload the same for all years as a PDF file).

6 Transfer Certificate (Intermediate / 10+2).

7 Community Certificate (If applicable) -Integrated Community Certificates issued through online mode by the Mandal Revenue Officer / Competent Authority of Govt of Andhra Pradesh will ONLY be considered for admissions.

8 Minority Certificate issued by District Minority Welfare Officer (for Muslims Only) (If applicable).

9 Income and Asset Certificate for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) valid for the year 2026-27 (Financial year 2025-26) issued by the Tahsildars on or after 01.04.2026 (candidates who are not covered under SC, ST & BC) issued by the Competent Authority of Govt. of Andhra Pradesh only.

10 Parental Income Certificate issued by MRO, Govt of A.P / White Ration Card (If applicable) towards fee reimbursement purpose only.

11 NCC Certificate.

12 Sports & Games Certificate (If more than one certificate, scan all into a single PDF file) (If applicable) along with applicable Valid Forms 1 to 4 (issued by the Association concerned).

13 Police Martyr Children Certificate (If applicable).

14 Anglo Indian Certificate (If applicable) issued by the Competent Authority.

15 Bharath Scouts and Guides Certificate (If applicable).

16 Aadhaar Card.

17 Local status Certificate issued through online mode by MRO in the State of Andhra Pradesh (candidates migrated from Telangana to Andhra Pradesh (If Applicable).

18 Candidate’s latest passport-size photo (Mandatory) with white background.

19 Specimen Signature of the Candidate (Mandatory).

ELIGIBILITY

The candidates who have been qualified and secured a minimum percentile in NEET UG – 2026 have to apply for determining the State Merit position for Competent Authority Quota seats in respective categories, subject to the conditions specified in admission Regulations/Prospectus.

1 The candidate should be an Indian National or Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) / Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card holders and should satisfy the Local or Non-local status in Andhra Pradesh (Residence requirement).

Provided that the candidates who got registered as Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) / Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Cardholders on or after 04.03.2021 are eligible for admission only against any Non-Resident Indian seat or any supernumerary seat; and shall not be eligible for admission against any seat reserved exclusively for Indian Citizens.

2 The candidate should have passed Intermediate (10+2 pattern) or its equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany, Zoology) / Biotechnology and English.

i OC candidates should obtain not less than 50% marks in Science subjects.

ii BC/SC/ST candidates should obtain not less than 40% marks in science subjects.

iii OC PwBD candidates should obtain not less than 45% marks in science subjects.

3 The candidate should complete 17 years of age as on 31-12-2026. The candidates who do not complete 17 years as on 31-12-2026 are not eligible for admission into MBBS, BDS Courses and they need not apply for the counselling.

4 The candidates who wish to claim seats under Anglo Indian, Sports & Games, CAP (Army), NCC, Persons with Disabilities (PWD), Bharath Scouts and Guides and Police Martyrs Children (PMC) also need to fulfil the above eligibility criteria.

5 The candidates who claim admission under Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) category shall upload documents as per NMC guidelines and have to appear before the Medical Board, to be constituted by the Competent Authority.
