NTRUHS invites applications for PG medical admissions 2025 under management quota, check complete details here

Andhra Pradesh: Dr NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS) Andhra Pradesh, has released notifications for admissions into Post Graduate Medical Degree and Diploma courses under the Management Quota for the academic year 2025-26.
Online applications are invited from NEET PG -2025 qualified candidates for seats in Private Un-Aided Non-Minority and Minority Medical Colleges across Andhra Pradesh.
Eligible candidates, including applicants from other States and Union Territories, must carefully read the details mentioned below to verify their eligibility before applying.

Eligibility:
The candidates who fulfil the following criteria and fulfil the Regulations as per NMC are eligible for admission into Post Graduate Medical Degree/Diploma courses.
Any candidate who has obtained his / her undergraduate medical / qualification from medical Colleges outside India should have qualified in the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE - Screening Test) which is conducted by National Board of Examinations (Document mandatorily to be produced). Further, they should have been registered with MCI and AP State Medical Council and should have completed their internship on or before 31-07-2025 for MD/MS.
The candidates should secure the following cut-off scores in NEET PG-2025 conducted by National Board of Examinations, New Delhi as per section (10) of Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.

Eligibility for Management Quota seats in Non-Minority Medical Colleges:
Sub Category-1-S1 (S1A & S1B):-
15% of Subcategory-1 (S1A) seats are open to the candidates from all over the Country and filled first by order of merit from the merit list of displayed under these regulations.
For the Remaining 85% of Subcategory-1 (S1B) seats shall be allotted to local candidates from Andhra Pradesh State only i.e. by order of merit from the merit list displayed under these regulations.
Local Area:
1. The entire state of Andhra Pradesh shall be treated as two local areas for the purpose of admissions into Post Graduate Courses in Medical Colleges” i.e., Andhra University and Sri Venkateswara University (including SVIMS) areas for filling up the 85% of Sub category-1 (S-1) seats in private un-aided Non-minority Medical Colleges in the State of Andhra Pradesh.
2. For the candidates who have completed MBBS from Govt. Siddhartha Medical College, Vijayawada
The Local area of the candidate shall be decided by considering the maximum study period of 4 years out of 7 years of study from 6th class to Intermediate/10+2 in the State of Andhra Pradesh.
Foreign Students/NRI/NRI sponsored candidates are eligible for Category – C (NRI Quota - Sub Category-S2)
Candidates sponsored by the Managements of Private Medical Colleges having Post Graduate Courses in Andhra Pradesh State are eligible for Category – C (Institutional Quota - Sub Category-S3) in the college which sponsored his/her candidature. The requirements for the Institutional Quota are:
1. The candidates who have completed MBBS in that particular Institution (or)
2. Employee of that particular Institution and the employee should have a minimum of 6 months experience in that particular Institution and presently working as on the date of application in the same Institution (or)
3. Son or Daughter of the employee working in that institution.
4. If the number of candidates sponsored for S3 seat is more than the number of S3 seats available in that college in that speciality, then the seat will be allotted to meritorious candidate in the merit list based on NEET-2025 Rank.
Eligibility for Management Quota seats in Minority Medical Colleges:
50% of Seats in each speciality in each college are Management Quota Seats.
The Seats are categorised into
1. Management Quota Category – B (S1)– 25%,
2. Category – C (NRI- S2) – 15%
3. Category –C (Institutional Preference – S3) – 10%.
a. Management Quota-Subcategory- 1(S1): 25% of the sanctioned intake of seats, course wise, in each institution shall be filled by the candidates in General Merit based on the NEET PG-2025 ranking.
b. Management Quota-Subcategory-2(S2): 15% seats out of total intake capacity, course wise, in each institution shall be filled by foreign students/ NRI/NRI sponsored candidates on the basis of inter-se-merit among the applicants qualified in NEET PG2025.
c. Management Quota-Subcategory-3(S3): 10% seats out of total intake capacity, course wise, in each institution shall be Institutional preference/In- service management quota seats filled on the basis of inter-se-merit among the applicants qualified in NEET PG2025.
Candidates should have a MBBS Degree recognized by the NMC.
Candidates should have completed Internship by 31/07/2025.
Must have registered with Medical Council. Foreign Medical Graduates should have a permanent Medical Council Registration.
If the candidate is having a Medical qualification equivalent to MBBS (Primary Medical qualification) from outside India, the Degree should have been recognized by NMC for enrolment as Medical Practitioner in the India.
Candidate must have Permanent Registration with Medical Council of India or any State Medical Council.
Candidates must pay equivalency verification fee as specified in the regulations along with the registration fee. The fee once paid will not be refunded or adjusted to a future date. Therefore, candidates are advised to check eligibility conditions thoroughly before applying for determining merit.
Senior Residency: All the candidates admitted into Management quota seats in unaided private Medical colleges, on completion of their Postgraduate course shall work for one year as ‘Senior Resident’ in the institution where they pursued postgraduate course. "
Applications through Online:
The On-line Application form (Single Application Form) for determining Merit Position in respective categories - Category – B (S1) & Category-C- NRI (S2)/ Institutional Quota(S3) will be available on the website:
from 03.00 PM on 18-11-2025 to 03.00 PM on 23-11-2025 (Without a Late fee)
from 11.00 AM on 24-11-2025 to 11.00 AM on 26-11-2025 (With a Late fee)
The candidate should fill the online application form available on the Website with the required data from a desktop/laptop only with internet connection.
Candidates are advised to carefully go through the prospectus in detail and, upon confirming their eligibility, proceed to fill in the correct MQ Online Application Form.
All required certificates should be kept readily available to ensure accurate and complete submission of information. It may be noted that no request for refund or transfer of fee will be considered in cases where an incorrect application is submitted.
No new applications shall be entertained beyond the notified cut-off date, and candidates will not be permitted to apply until the completion of Phase-III (MopUp) Counselling.
Candidates opting for S2(NRI Quota) and S3(Institutional Quota) are advised todo so at initial stage of submitting online application. Once the Phase-wise merit list is published and the counselling process for that Phase has commenced, no changes related to S2 or S3 category preferences will be permitted. Any request for such modifications will only be considered prior to the commencement of subsequent Phases of counselling.

(c) Original Degree/Provisional Certificate of MBBS

(f) Study Certificate(s) of MBBS
(g) Latest Social Status certificate in case of OBC/BC/SC/ST candidates
(h) Muslim Minority Certificate if applicable.
(i) Internship completion certificate
(j) Valid Medical Council Registration Certificate.
(k) Permanent Medical Registration Certificate is mandatory if the candidate has obtained Degree Certificate from outside the country.
(l) Candidates claiming NRI Quota Should submit the following documents:

TUITION FEE: The Following is the Tuition fee structure for the academic year 2025-26 to be payable for the Management quota seats in Private Un-aided Medical Colleges as per G.O.RT.No.777, HM & FW (C1) Dept., dt. 09-11-2025 of Government of Andhra Pradesh, and subject to the outcome of W.P.Nos.32975, 33162 & 35090 of 2022.

ADMISSION RULES:
The last date of joining of selected candidates will be communicated to them in the letter of selection.
All the candidates joining the Post Graduate degree/diploma courses should execute bond on a stamped paper of Rs. 100/- value as prescribed in Annexure-IV to the effect that he/she will complete the prescribed period of training or in default to pay Rs.3,00,000/- to the University and shall refund the amount received as stipend up to that date to the Government as notified by the University from time to time.
As per G.O.Ms.No.67, HM&FW (C1) Department dated 21-04-2017 candidates have to pay the discontinuation penalty of Rs. 3,00,000/- and they will be debarred for three years for admission into Post Graduate Medical Degree/Diploma courses at the colleges in the State of Andhra Pradesh for admission into PG Medical courses subject to receipt of orders from the Government if any and as notified by the University from time to time.
Instructions to Candidates on Counselling Procedure:
There will be four Rounds of counselling i.e., Phase 1, Phase 2, Phase 3 (Mop up) and Stray Round.(SUBJECT TO CHANGE AS PER THE GUIDELINES OF DGHS / NMC/MCC NORMS & UHS
Phase-I counselling:
Seat Matrix will be displayed in the University Website for information of the students before exercising their Web options.
As per the year 2024-25 Notifications for Stray/Special Stray rounds of CQ/MQ counselling, candidates who participated in Stray/Special Stray rounds of CQ/MQ counselling conducted for the year 2024-25 and allotted seats but not reported/joined are debarred for admissions into CQ/MQ counselling for the year 2025-26 (List of debarred candidates displayed on the University website).
As per G.O.Ms.No.67. dt.21-04-2017, the candidates who have discontinued the course from the academic year 2021-22 irrespective of their admission batch will be debarred for this academic year i.e., 2025-26 (List of debarred candidates displayed on the University website).
Candidates are informed that, there is no limit of choices (number) for exercising web options. Candidates can exercise any number of options for any number of specialties and colleges available.
Candidates are instructed to be careful while exercising options on the Web and take the print out of the saved options. Candidates are advised to exercise options in Courses and colleges in which they are genuinely interested. If they are not interested to join any specialty or college then they are advised not exercise options for the same.
Candidates allotted a particular specialty in a college during CQ Phase-I will not be considered for the same specialty in the same college under MQ, irrespective of their web options. This rule is implemented to maintain fairness in the admission process and to avoid seat blocking.
The selected candidates can download the provisional allotment order on payment of University Fee of Rs.49,600/- through payment gateway and report to the Principal of the Allotted College on or before the date specified in the allotment letter. University fee once paid is not refundable under any circumstances.
The selected candidates shall produce all the Original certificates, pay the Tuition fee, necessary bonds etc., and complete the process of admission. If the candidate does not fulfil the criteria as per regulations to complete the admission process in the specified dates of admission, their admission will be cancelled automatically.
The verification of original certificates will be conducted at the time of admission in the respective College and in case of any discrepancy, the Provisional allotment will be cancelled and action will be initiated. If the candidate slides to other college (i.e., affiliated colleges of Dr. NTR UHS) during subsequent Phases of counselling the tuition fee will be sent to the slided college by the concerned college where the amount is held.
If a candidate of Phase-I counselling has not joined/reported in the allotted seat then that particular seat shall not be available for that candidate to exercise web options in Phase-II and all further phases of counselling in order to prevent the blocking of seats.
The Joined candidates of Phase-I Counselling are eligible for upgradation up to Phase-III (Mop Up) round only.
Candidates who have reported the allotted seat of Phase-I can opt for free exit as per the schedule which will be notified.
Phase-II Counselling:
Procedure for exercising web options as explained at Phase-I counselling
Eligibility for Exercising web options in Phase-II Counselling
The following candidates are eligible:
a) All the candidates who have been allotted a seat in Phase-I and reported.
b) All the candidates who have not been allotted any seat in Phase-I counselling.
c) All candidates who have been allotted a seat in Phase-I but not reported/not joined at the allotted colleges. However, if a candidate has not joined/resigned in Phase-I then that particular seat allotted in Phase-I shall not be available for that candidate to exercise web options in Phase-II counselling.
d) Phase-I joined/reported seat shall be the default last option.
e) The Joined candidates of Phase-I/Phase-II Counselling are eligible for upgradation up to Phase-III (Mop Up) round only.
Candidates getting upgraded in Phase II Shall NOT have any claim on Phase I seat.
Candidates reported/allotted a particular specialty in a college during CQ Phase-I/Phase-II will not be considered for the same specialty in the same college under MQ, irrespective of their web options. This rule is implemented to maintain fairness in the admission process and to avoid seat blocking
Candidates who have reported the allotted seat of Phase-I and/or Phase-II can opt for free exit as per the schedule which will be notified.
Phase-III/Mop Up Round:
Procedure for exercising web options as explained at Phase-I counselling
Eligibility for Exercising web options in Phase-III (MoP Up) Counselling
The following candidates are eligible:
a) It is decided to collect a Refundable Security Deposit Amount of ₹.3,00,000/- (Rupees Three lakh only) through online mode from the candidates who wishes to participate in Phase-III (Mop Up) and subsequent Phases of Counselling to avoid seat blocking. Other details will be notified in the Web Option notification of that Phase.
b) All the candidates who have been allotted and reported to the Phase-I/Phase-II seat.
c) All the candidates who have not been allotted any seat in Phase-I/Phase-II counselling.
d) All candidates who have been allotted a seat in Phase-I/Phase-II
but not reported/not joined at the allotted colleges.
Joined but resigned from the allotted seat as per University Notifications for free exit.
However, if a candidate has not joined/reported in the allotted seat of Phase-I/Phase II or resigned from the joined seat of Phase-I/Phase-II, then that particular seat shall not be available for that candidate to exercise web options in Phase-III/Mop Up counselling.
e) Phase-I /II joined/reported seat shall be the default last option.
f) Candidates getting upgraded in Phase-III Shall NOT have any claim on Phase-I/Phase-II seat of CQ & MQ
g) The Joined candidates who are holding a seat in Phase-I or Phase-II or Phase-III(Mop Up) Counselling are not eligible for Stray or any further rounds.
h) Candidates allotted a seat in Phase III (Mop-Up) cannot participate in subsequent rounds of State Counselling including Management Quota Counselling, regardless of whether they report to the allotted college.
i) All the joined candidates of AIQ Round 3 counselling will be blocked for State Phase III/Mop UP and Stray counselling of both CQ & MQ even if they have exercised web options.
j) Candidates allotted/upgraded in CQ Phase-III irrespective of their reporting status will be blocked from participating in MQ Phase-III counselling, even though if they have exercised web options.
k) If a candidate is allotted a seat under CQ in Phase-III, they must compulsorily report. The previously held MQ seat (if any) from Phase-I/Phase-II will automatically be vacated, regardless of whether the candidate reports to the new CQ seat in Phase-III. The vacated MQ seat will be made available for allocation during MQ Phase-III Counselling.
l) If a candidate is allotted a seat in Phase-III, he/she has to compulsorily report & join the allotted seat/college else the Security Deposit amount of ₹.3,00,000/- will be forfeited and he/she cannot participate in further rounds of counselling.
m) Candidates allotted/upgraded under CQ in Phase-III shall not have any claim on the seat held in Phase-I/Phase-II either in CQ or MQ.
n) In respect of S1B seats, preference will be given to local candidates of Andhra Pradesh and if eligible candidates from Andhra Pradesh are not available, the same will be allotted to S1A candidates based on Merit list, options and subject to availability of seats.
o) MCC of DGHS will share the data of joined candidates in Round 1, Round 2, Round 3 counselling with all the participating States. Similarly, the participating States will also share the data of joined candidates. Candidates who have joined up to Round 3 of MCC counselling and also the allotted candidates of Stray Vacancy round of MCC counselling will be filtered and weeded out before processing for Stray Vacancy round of counselling of AP State.
p) As per MCC counselling Scheme 2025, the joined candidates up to Round 3 of MCC counselling cannot upgrade or resign after Round 3. If any candidate is allotted seat in Round 3 of AIQ/Deemed/Central Quota such candidates cannot participate in Phase III (Mop Up) or subsequent phases of State Counselling.
STRAY VACANCY COUNSELLING:
If candidates who have not registered/applied earlier have to register afresh for Final Stray Vacancy Round. The choices filled during earlier phases will not be considered for allotment in Stray Vacancy Round.
For freshly registered candidates the Competent Authority has decided to collect a Refundable Security Deposit Amount of ₹.3,00,000/- (Rupees Three lakh only) through online mode to avoid seat blocking. Other details will be notified in the Web Option notification of that Phase.
The choices filled during Phase-III (Mop Up) will not be considered for allotment in Stray Vacancy Round.
All the available vacancies of S1A & S1B seats are treated as S1 seats and all the candidates are eligible for all S1 seats as per Merit.
Candidates who are included in the Final Merit List under the Competent Authority Quota but have not been allotted a seat or are not holding any seat in Phase I, Phase II, or Phase III (Mop-up) rounds — whether under AIQ, Deemed, or State Quota — and are willing to participate in the Stray Vacancy Round under the Management Quota, may register afresh and upload the relevant doc
Eligible candidates:
a) The candidates who have not been allotted in Phase 1, Phase 2, Phase 3 of counselling.
b) The candidates who have been allotted, but not joined in Phase 1, Phase 2 of State Quota and All India Quota are eligible to participate in this counselling.
c) A Candidate who has not registered and not choice locked in the Phase 1 or Phase 2 or Phase 3(Mop up) ONLINE COUNSELLING will be permitted to attend Stray Round of ONLINE COUNSELLING.
Not Eligible Candidates:
a) The candidates who are holding PG (Medical) seat in Round 1, Round 2 and Round 3 (Mop Up) of State Counselling are not eligible to participate in Stray round of counselling.
b) The candidate who is holding a seat allotted in Round 1 & Round 2 and Round 3 in All India Quota/Deemed universities (conducted by MCC/DGHS).
c) The candidates who have been allotted in stray round of All India Quota/Deemed universities (conducted by MCC/DGHS) are not eligible to participate in State Stray Round of counselling.
d) The candidates who have been allotted in stray round of Competent Authority Quota of theAP State are not eligible to participate in State MQ Stray Round of counselling.
e) A candidate allotted a seat in Phase 3 (Mop up) of State counselling and not joined the seat cannot participate in further rounds of State Counselling.
If a candidate is allotted a seat in Stray round, he/she has to compulsorily report & join the allotted seat/college else the Security Deposit will be forfeited and he/she shall be debarred from participating A.P. State Counselling for admission to PG Medical Courses under both Competent Authority Quota seats & Management Quota seats for subsequent 1 (one) academic year.
User Manual For Dr. NTR UHS – PG MEDICAL DEGREE
Registration:
Click on 'Registration' in the FORMS tile to register for PG Medical management quota admissions.
After clicking the Registration link, a registration webpage will be displayed
Enter the NEET hall ticket number and Date of Birth, then click "Get Details." The Name, Mobile Number, and Email ID will be displayed from the NEET data. The Mobile Number and Email ID fields will be in edit mode. If any changes are required in the Mobile Number or Email ID, make the necessary updates.
Enter the password and re-enter it in the confirm password field.
Enter the Captcha and click on "Generate OTP." Button.
An OTP will be sent to the registered Mobile Number and Email ID. Enter the OTP in the OTP field and click the "Submit" button.
After successful submission, the Registration ID will be displayed as shown below. An SMS and email will also be sent with the Registration ID. The screen willshow a "Successfully submitted" message along with the Registration ID.
Login:
After successful registration, click “Login” to submit your application
The login screen will be displayed as shown below. Enter your User ID (Registration ID), Password, and Captcha, then click the “Login” button.
Application Submission:

After logging in, select “Services” from the menu bar and click on the “Application Submission” link.
After clicking on the “Application Submission” link, the screen will appear
The following tabs will be displayed on the application submission screen:
a. Personal Details
b. Payment Details
c. Local/Non-local Region
d. Upload Documents
Note: Note: Candidates must fill in all tabs and submit the application. If any tab is missed or the application is not submitted, the candidate will be considered ineligible for admission.
Personal Details:
NEET details will be auto populated from NEET data. Fill in the Educational Details, Personal Details, and Residential Address, then click the “Save and Continue” button.
After clicking the “Save & Continue” button, the page will automatically redirect to the payment gateway screen.
Select the payment type, agree to the terms and conditions, and click the 'Pay Now' button. The screen will then redirect to the bank page to complete the fee payment.
Note:- If the OCI/PIO card issue date is 04/03/2021 or later, the candidate is not eligible for the S1 Quota and same candidates claims 'NO' for "Claiming Institutional Quota (S3)" and "Claiming NRI Quota (S2)" those candidates are not eligible for application submission
After the payment is successful, the payment receipt will be displayed below. Click “Continue” button to be redirected to the Local/Non-local screen
Note: While making payments, if the amount is deducted but the transaction is not successful, Click on "Verify and Continue" If the transaction is successful, the status will be updated automatically. If a transaction fails, the screen will redirect to the payment gateway page and you can attempt the payment again. The deducted amount will be refunded to your account within 7 working days.
Educational Local/Non-local Region:
Based on the candidate's MBBS education, they will fall under one of the following regions:
Andhra Pradesh Region
Other Region
MBBS studied in SMC Vijayawada
Andhra University Region/ Sri Venkateswara University Region (except GDC GOVT. DENTAL COLLEGE AND HOSPITAL, VIJAYAWADA):
The region will be automatically displayed in the region field based on the location of the MBBS college studied in Andhra Pradesh. Click “Save and Continue” button.
Other Region:
The candidate falls underthe Other region
The candidate needs to select 'Yes' or 'No' in the 'Do you want to claim, ‘Migrated from TG to AP’?' dropdown.
If 'No' is selected, the candidates under the ‘Other’ region are eligible for management quota.
If 'YES' is selected, migrated details will be displayed. Please select the local certificate issued by, the migrated district, and enter the certificate number.
After entering the details, the final region will be displayed as shown below. Click the “Save & Continue” button.
MBBS studied under SMC Vijayawada College
If the candidate studied MBBS at SMC Vijayawada college, they should upload details from classes 6 to 12 in the grid for educational region calculation.
After entering all details, the educational region will be displayed as shown below. Follow the above process based on the educational region to determine the final region.
After entering the details, the final region will be displayed as shown below. Click the “Save & Continue” button.
Documents Uploads:
Candidates should upload all document in PDF format and click “Save Documents”
After saving, the 'Preview Application' button will be activated. Click on the 'Preview Application' button to submit your application.
After clicking 'Preview Application' button, you will be redirected to the application preview page. Verify all details, read the declaration, and click 'Final Submit'. If any details are incorrect, click the 'Cancel' button, change the required fields, and submit the application again.
A confirmation pop-up will be displayed as shown below. Click 'OK' to submit or click 'Cancel' to go back and edit the details.
After clicking the “OK” button application will be submitted successfully.
Know your Payment Status
After logging in,select “Services” from the menu bar and click on the “Know your Payment Status” link.
If fee payment has already been made, the fee payment receipt will be displayed as shown below.
You can view payment details or download the payment receipt.
Print Provisional Application
After logging in,select “Services” from the menu bar and click on the “Print Provisional Application” link.
If Candidate would like to Print Provisional Application, then candidate should log in his candidate login then go to services tab and click on Provisional Application then page shown as below. Candidate can be downloaded and print out the Provisional Application.
Know your Application Status
After logging in,select “Services” from the menu bar and click on the “Know Your Application Status” link.
If Candidate would like to know his Application status, then candidate should log in his candidate login then go to services tab and click on know your Application status, the following page is displayed as shown below.
Candidate can be downloaded and print out the Application Status
