PC PNDT counselling: UP DGME releases guidelines for choice filling, merit list

Uttar Pradesh- The Uttar Pradesh Directorate General of Medical Education (UPDGME) has published the Uttar Pradesh (UP) merit list for Pre-Conception and Pre-Natal Diagnostic Techniques (PCPNDT) counselling for the year 2023.

Along with this, UPDGME has also stated some guidelines regarding online choice filling and admission of PCPNDT (Six Monthly) Phase 1 and 2 (2023) under the academic session 2023-24.

Regarding admission guidelines-

1 The admission process of candidates allotted from PCPN DT-2023 will be completed Between 16 to 22 February 2024 as well as the allotted candidates will be in the allotted colleges/universities.

2 The allotted candidates will complete the admission process by presenting themselves at the allotted college and depositing the prescribed training fee. However, in any circumstances, the earnest money will not be adjusted towards the training fee.

Furthermore, the candidates must submit certain documents at the time of admission, otherwise, the candidate will not be considered for the seat.

DOCUMENTS-

1 NEET PG 2023 Admit Card.

2 Score card for NEET PG 2023.

3 High School/Intermediate Marksheets and Certificates.

4 MBBS all-year mark sheets and certificates.

5 Reservation-related certificates will be valid only if issued by the competent authority of the Uttar Pradesh Government (for candidates belonging to economically weaker sections and other backward classes, only reservation certificates issued after 01.04.2023 will be acceptable).

6 Domicile/residence certificate of Uttar Pradesh state in the prescribed format issued by the

competent authority.

7 Marksheet/certificate related to students who have passed the PG course and no objection certificate in case of staying during the bond period.

It should be noted that if any record/certificate/information is found to be forged in the process

of verification of any certificate at the competent level after the candidate’s admission then legal action will be taken by canceling the admission of the candidate, which will be completely punished. Then it will fully be the responsibility of the candidate himself.

Instructions for the Choice Filling-

1 As per the notice, only those candidates are eligible for choice filling who have deposited the money.

2 Online choice filling will be done based on preference for admission to seats in Government Medical Colleges/Universities.

3 Candidates are instructed to fill the choices only for those colleges/universities in which they wish to take admission.

4 There is no limit set for online choice filling, however, it is mandatory to lock the choice after online choice filling. If the option is not locked then the candidate will automatically be out of the allotment process.

5 Allotment will be made relative to the available seats based on merit except the option selected by the candidate.

6 Counseling (Phase 1 and Phase 2) of the PCPNDT course will be conducted in a single round. If eligible candidates of the reserved category are not available in the said counselling, then the process of allotment of such reserved seats will be completed by merging the seats as per the arrangement contained in the Government Order dated 01.02.2024. Such seats will be displayed under Virtual Vacancy (SAC).

7 After the choice is locked by the candidate, it is mandatory to take admission to the allotted college/course. In case of not taking admission, the earnest money deposited by the candidate will be Confiscated.
